Yeah, very much so. Sierra Hull is my favorite any grass, and I’ve seen GB and watched some streams of Infamous but haven’t seen them yet I don’t think. Jacob told me that Chris Thile is elite. Definitely want to see them.

You’ll love it then. We saw them 3 and a half times last year. The half was when they had to cancel because Chris lost his voice. They put together a show on the fly with a bunch of their friends from Nashville, including Sierra Hull and it was amazing.

You can buy a ticket that is good for any day of that weekend. So yes, single day passes.
I'm in for weekend 2. My friends are coming down. We may trying to swindle VIP later but got GA for now.
It will be hard to hit those crabs everywhere I would have taken you because so many people will be in town. But if you got an hour here or there we will find some crabs. Also they usually have a half soft shell crab poboy at the festival itself. So worst comes to worst….
obligatory i know its across two weekends but still another year where jazzfest absolute dominates every other festival.
You the man. It hasn’t happened in a while - probably mid-teens, but this is nice. Feel like I’m not settling. Could use some Phish but maybe next year.
Columbia is the cultural exchange country this year which is great because I love their food.

note that if neil is sunday second weekend, it won't be "night" so much as 3:00pm-5:00pm or thereabouts. trombone shorty closes the main stage on the last day.

It would be 5-7:10 or so. Maybe they’ll give them 2:30 since it’s Crazy Horse and maybe one of our last shots since he’s almost 80. No chance I’m missing whatever day that is so let me know if you come down. Goes for anybody.
Edit what Postjack said. I didn’t think he’d get last Sunday but the actual headliner plays before Orleans Ave who took over the annual close out.
Foo Fighters would be on Friday I assume, playing Shaky Knees on Sunday.

Oh totally yes its gonna be hot then, too. Unless its really cloudy, in which case you're gonna be dealing with rain or, at the very least, it'll be humid as fuck. And honestly, you'd prefer hot & dry than cloudy & humid (source: me sweating thru my tux after just three blocks into my second line on my cloudy mid-May wedding day)

Yeah. It will be light until about 8:15 or so that time of year. It could be hot or kind of cool and/or rainy if it gets really hot in April. Likely will be low-mid 80’s days upper 60’s nights with the range of lows 55-70 and highs 65-90 or so. And if it was rainy in April usually it goes the other way. Expect mud and slop if it does end up raining but it’s whatever especially if it’s on the last day which will be fucked up by then regardless. Also because it is daylight there won’t be much in the way of lights. There are a few spots but that’s it. You got to play. Last show he had his dancers and it was focused on better agriculture and less poisonous chemicals. So he had some props. And at one dark point there was a giant crack of lightning overhead which usually scares the shit out of me but was cool af.
