It is puzzling that whoever currently owns the brand copyrights for either Technotronic or C&C Music Factory haven't tried to do a nostalgia fest run. It's not like they even need the original studio singers. Somebody should make this happen.
Technotronic did some stuff back in Belgium, but that was years ago.
acts confirmed in (mostly through remeard ‘s sources): - childish gambino - dom dolla - john summit - king gizzard and the lizard wizard - glass animals
justice is also almost for sure in based on a bunch of teasing from the-two-guys-that-book-bonnaroo
there is a thursday headliner this year (not pop, not comedy) that has been deemed impossible to guess by multiple people who know it. there’s also another thursday headliner that’s an edm act and i’m sure they’re perfectly guessable.
there is at least 1 woman in the top 8
think that’s about it!
i think the Thurs EDM act is either Dom Dolla or Summit
Brad said on the What that “they were excited to book two related acts that people have been super excited for and we’re gonna put them both on Sunday and allow for a hyper-curated lane” (paraphrasing) so I think that’s DD/JS

Any potential that the Thursday headliner is “impossible” to guess because it’s an artist that has a large-ish fanbase? The only reason I’m thinking that is because last year’s Thursday headliner was PL, and while they don’t have a huge fanbase, they do have a very dedicated following. My train of thought being that most people would think of artists that would fit the description of being a publicly niche act, but in reality they booked a Fri-Sun caliber headliner.
Probably way off, but figured I’d throw the idea out.

slayer? beloved metal band, they’re booking more metal acts apparently, and their reunion shows have only been festival gigs. if they had reached out first, that sounds like a band that has a good relationship with bonnaroo after their 2015 show and exit 111. if slayer headlined they wouldn’t be big enough as a fri/sat/sun headliner then if they pair them with a pretty big metal-ish band like deftones or primus or a perfect circle they could fill up the what field on thursday. the only hang up is they are headlining louder than life 2025 in louisville so maybe they’re too close for radius clause

My guess is Young Thug. With the circumstance for his team coming to Roo late being his release from prison with it being a condition of his probation that he has to do large crowd presentations against gang violence
One other thing, we were able to hint about one name that hasn't been mentioned anywhere else. It's at around 25 minutes in if you want to skip ahead and jump to it.
a few other things he dropped last night either through discord or twitter: - 2 thursday headliners, one on What and one on Other - female(s) in top 8 - best top 8 post covid in his personal opinion

Guessing off-genre predictions for the unguessable thursday headliner, maybe a youtuber/improv act like Marc Rebillet or Harry mack? Maybe it would be someone like a composer or mini-legacy act like Herbie Hancock's set in 2022.
