They would be awesome! I've never seen them. Only went to 2 days of LTL this year and they weren't on them. Hope they play. Would be #2 on What, IMO. Headline late on Which maybe.
Maybe close the Which, but not late night. Also not a sub, probably 3rd last on What if they'd play imo.
Back at Okee 2023, I kind of wandered into their pit for that show. More hardcore stuff like that usually isn't for me, but I decided at the last minute that I did kind of like them and wanted to see a little bit of that show.
Except since it was a spur of the moment call, I didn't stop to think that wearing flip flops into that was a monumentally bad idea. I lost them both, had three guys pile on top of me in the pit, and had a guy that could have been an NFL linebacker pull them off of me and get me back on my feet.

Their music, especially the newer stuff, is a great entry point/crossover spot for hardcore. Their 2023 set at furnace fest was tied for my set of the year and the pit was wild as hell. Glad you enjoyed

Have seen acts go on at midnight on Which. To me that is 'late night', LOL!

No LCD Soundsystem, Sturgill, Sabrina Carpenter and Chappell Roan in Porto kinda took me by surprise. It's a week later and booking wise all of these would make sense to play both Barca and Porto. 2024 had much more of the bigger artists they shared.
Can someone make a list of bands that are on the Barcelona lineup but not the Porto one?

So Brad was just talking out his ass when he threw Deftones out there? What a clown.
He didn't hint they were playing Roo, he listed them next to QOTSA, VW, and Weezer and asked a user if they considered all of those acts to be "rock music." It was always a stretch for the reddit guys to list those as likely.
Hey so this is random, but I could use some help with something if you guys are in to it.
I'm going to be working with Roo along with our podcast and TOTEM and stuff to put together some resources for first timers. My thinking with all of this sort of thing is that I want to be welcoming of a fresh crowd, but also we want to keep traditions and such alive and keep Roo weird.
If there's any inside joke, story, resource, tradition, etc, that you thought was important to keep going with the next generation, what is it, and how would you explain it to a new Roovian?
My guess is John Summit. Justice seems more like a Friday/Saturday show.
it’s Summit or Dom Dolla
Since we now know one of them is Thursday, we should revisit the hint that Sunday has two artists that lots of people have been asking for. The one time it was brought up here someone assumed it was Dolla and Summit, but that doesn't seem to be the case. Seems like he was taking about the two top billed acts that day.

Could be Sabrina Carpenter and Vampire Weekend on Sunday.
