Is Coldplay actually any good I refused to ever really given them a chance. Every time I think of them my mind immediately goes to Jim Halpert giving the Pyramid presentation to "clocks".
i can't claim to have ever taken a deep dive on Coldplay but they have written some solid pop hits and they are all handsome guys. and i've only heard great things about their shows.

Their first 2 albums were great and they were great live. I haven’t cared for them much since then.

Their first 2 albums and one song - "Fix You" - on their third album were great and they were great live. I haven’t cared for them much since then.

Probably one of my favorite live shows I've ever seen without anything specific to point out what makes it great.
They'd be a great Bonnaroo headliner in my opinion. If I'm correct, it's been 13 years since they've headlined a US festival (Lolla and ACL). They also headlined Coachella before, so Bonnaroo is the odd one out.
Im not a huge Gambino music fan but I do sort of find the "funkadelic did it better" thing a little tiresome because that applies to a lot of bands/people in the past 50 years

It’s oddly satisfying how you’ve sorted these by length.

Haha!!! Thanks! I dunno if it’s my dyslexia or something but I like things organized so I can read it easier.
If you could have gone to any one past bonnaroo that you didn't get to attend, which would it be and why?
2009. last beastie boys show. springsteen, nine inch nails, david byrne, wilco, al green, merle haggard, del mccoury band, allen toussaint, booker t and the DBTs, david grisman quintet, lucinda williams, neko case, femi kuti and the positive force, KING SUNNY ADE. and phish of course.
i'd been sober for 4 years at that point and had been going to live music, but was still iffy about attending a large scale drug festival. ended up going to AV to see phish instead. in retrospect i would've been totally fine and had a blast at roo 2009.
