Not to be a buzz kill, but she's headlining PS Porto. I guess she could play Thursday and then fly over for a Saturday night show, but seems pretty unlikely
Snagged my tix. 2022 was probably the worst lineup possible for me and I ended up having my favorite roo that year, so I’m locked in every year at this point. See you beautiful people there
hearing that outside backpacks are officially banned, if you want to have a backpack in centeroo you can rent an official clear bonnabag from the centeroo merch tent.
So we only bought one pass today because we need to figure out later how it will work with media / non-profit wristbands. So the only way we could tie in a groop leader pass was with the one ticket we were buying.
So welcome our new Roo Bus Groop Leader, my eleven year old niece Lacey.
Genuinely nice to hear Pondo still out there being Pondo.
I talked to him for about a half hour on the phone last night. He is doing way better these days, and got the doctor's pass to be at Roo next year.
Also he told me a wild story about being pulled on stage to sing with some local punk band, he's out there living his best life. I told him to come pop in here to say hi to everybdoy.
You already got her in Columbus. Let her come to Pittsburgh.
I know this wasn’t directed at me, but the Columbus charli show was the same night as Jpegmafia so we went to that instead (charli floor tix being $400 was a factor too), was praying she’d be at roo instead
One last story about my part-time kid and then I'll be done for today:
I've told this story on the podcast and a few other places, but back when she was around five years old, Lacey technically flatlined and died after a bad car wreck. She went from barely having any brain activity, to learning to walk and talk again, to running around like a seasoned wook at Shaky Knees this last year.
When she was getting her brain re-trained and was learning to walk and talk again, one of the first songs she started singing to herself was the chorus of Pork Soda from Glass Animals. To this day, she still sings "pineapples are in my head" to herself when she's in her own world.
I remember barely being able to look at her in the hospital when she was so banged up that it had me choked up, I swore to myself that if she got better, I'd take her to Roo when she got older.

it’s actually a tiered pass for different sized bags. Fanny pack? 15$ a day + shipping and fees. Camelbak? 30$ a day + shipping and fees. don’t forget about the layaway plan tho!
