Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
We've got a new episode up this morning. We mostly went over what we thought worked really well infrastructure-wise and what we think could be improved for next year, but Andrew was also on to talk about a few updates from the confirmation thread too.
It looks like all of these are out. Bonnaroo fucked up not booking Danny
damn, this lineup is mad sexy. So no Sunami, Fleshwater, Speed, Drug Church. So it makes Gel, Drain, Kublai Khan more likely. There’s so many good gets on this, Roo missed out big time.

feels wild that most of the leaks we’ve received so far this year have been acts that would easily be slotted anywhere from 2nd-5th on their day. really not much room for anything in the top lines to surprise us when the lineup drops.
I just saw a father, mother with two kids all decked out in Bonnaroo gear. I yelled out BONNAROO!!!! Asked if they were excited for lineup day. The dad gave me this disappointment look and said they’re going to Ocean Calling next year. I really almost said ugh, lame.

One time I was in Banff, Canada - nearly 2,000 miles from Louisville, KY - wearing a Forecastle Festival shirt. I saw a woman who was somehow ALSO wearing a Forecastle Festival shirt. I pointed it out and she could not have cared less.
Just saw that the Blue Man Group will deliver its final show on February 2nd in NY. There goes my dream of seeing them late night on the farm.
Its not actually the end of Blue Man Group, it’s just the end of their shows in New York and Chicago but will continue shows in other places. They’ve just held a residency in NYC

oh damn alright that’s good to know. Wait, Could they be our residency booking?

That sucks! Yeah, this was the first time I got a lukewarm response when engaging with a stranger about a festival shirt. Usually people are pretty stoked. The best was last summer at a King Gizz show. I saw multiple Roo shirts. I kept yelling BONNAROO!!!! And giving out high fives. Everyone was super hype!

at least it's reassuring knowing that our potential top card is phenominal
Glass Animals, Avril, Dom Dolla, Hozier, Goose, John Summit, King Gizzard, Luke Combs (well, okay, not this), Vampire Weekend, Justice, Tipper, Olivia, LCD Soundsystem, Tyler, Queens of the Stone Age and Foster the People? we're in for a great time

i also forgot the potential of Run the Jewels
I'm suspecting a few will drop, but if we get some of the top stuff (Queens, King Gizz, Justice, etc) it'll still be fantastic.

the thing is, lcd hasn’t been confirmed whatsoever so as the other acts pile up, the less likely they are to be booked. same goes for someone like sturgill who would have been a slam dunk booking this year but isn’t even showing up in mocks anymore bc our leaks are so top-heavy
I feel like LCD is this year's VW - where I take a weekend off and come back and everyone's talking like they've been confirmed.
Out Reddit post got too big, apparently there's a text size limit and we hit it. We may do some of the notes/other festivals in the comment section to reduce that. Honestly I don't think that's happened before.

I said this as a joke about a week or so ago…..now I’m not thinking it’s a joke anymore….

oh 100%. some of the other artists we don't have much of a reason to suspect either, e.g. Foster the People played at ACL and will be playing the south american lolla's, but that doesn't mean they're a lock here. Tyler may not be booked (currently in replace gambino mode). Run the Jewels just has a somewhat convenient slotting but it may be a one-off. etc etc.
