Will we be disappointed if Gizz only gets 1 set (non-marathon)?
Confused? Mostly? I mean, I presume they'll play at least 2 hours but if it was significantly less than that (e.g. 90 minutes) it'd leave me with the question why. Like, band tired from getting back from Europe? Booking costs that high? Etc.

They only played for 60 mins in 2022.
i mean yeah, but now all they're doing is playing long sets and it seems like in 2022 they were on route to play *every* festival. Not to mention they've gotten much bigger since.
*Given the knowledge we have now* we can assume that their flight schedule is Europe -> America (for Bonnaroo) -> Back home (or vacation in America for a while). If that's the case, it'd be weird for them to play for just 60-90 minutes with one set? Both from Bonnaroo and their point of view.

They book Justice but its at the same time as Gizz what are you going to do
Justice, Gizz will continue to be omnipresent in the states for the next 20 years in all likelihood. Luckily even if they conflicted I could probably see all of Justice and still catch 90 minutes at the tail end of KG’s set

I just got told in the Shaky Knees Reddit that King Gizzard said no more US tour dates in 2025. So I think they are out entirely.
this was known before the reports of them being in for Roo came in from however many sources have said they’re gonna be in. Don’t think this will change anything since it’s likely as much as they can say about their standalone tour without spoiling any potential festival appearances due to NDAs or whatever else.
I feel like they’d do what they did with MMJ and put them for 2 hours on the schedule, but really they have 3 hours planned, so it can be a talking point of “Gizz played way over their set”

it’s honestly the only reason I’m hesitant to believe they’re 100% in, but I’ll trust the sources that claim they’re there just because I want em to be there
I think the initial email announcing their tour a few months back also said those were gonna be their only US tour dates as well, so it’s nothing new at the very least
i feel like we would know definitively if they were out. The email said no more us tour dates, not no more us shows, making me think that’s their only full tour, but they may have one off festival dates throughout the year
