i'm fine with schlotzky's going because the sandwiches are greasy mouth cutters, but worth pointing out that tropical smoothie cafe feels like a prison. buzzing lights and you feel trapped.
Had to stop eating at Firehouse because twice, from two different locations, they gave me mayonnaise soaked sponge bread. I cant eat mushy wet bread. It's where I draw the line.
it really is the kind of thing you make at your house with absolutely minimal effort. like throwing some turkey into a green tortilla with a squirt of condiment.

I eat Tropical Smoothie 1.5 times per weeks. The buffalo and jerk chicken wraps are so good and light to go along with the Detox Island Green smoothie while hungover.

This is my wife’s complaint about Firehouse. For me, pile on the mayo, condiments, sauces. I can deal with it making the bread a little soggy because I’m all about the flavor. What I don’t like is the dry ass bread you get from eliminated places like Panera and ABC.

I just now realized that there’s a Tropical Smoothie Cafe right next to my favorite donut shop. I’m always baffled that people would be going there for a smoothie for breakfast when HOLTMAN’S IS RIGHT THERE. I never would have even considered that it was someplace a person would go for a meal.
