As the second most liked guy on inforoo, can I call in a favor here? Let's get grits and Uncharted out on a tie, both things are super pleasant as long as they're not outside your personal taste 😊
i'm just thinking of options when it comes to getting an all star special but yeah no reason you can't get both!
Like at Denny's? They are even worse than Crackers Barrel - probably waffle house too.
If I'm eating hash browns, I much prefer shredded potato to the deep fried fake ones they serve at fast food restaurants and particularly the fake shitty tot ones Chicken Filet has.
Do people really eat at Denny's? That's pretty much a bottom 1 all time place and invokes images of the 1950's. :vomit:
Been voting them so far. Fun live band if you don't mind the jam.
The only jam I’m voting for here is pearl.
I like Pearl Jam enough. I've seen them a ton of times, and they managed to get my show of the year in 2012 and 2013. Saw them again at Jazz Fest in 2016, and it was pretty great. But then we caught them at Bourbon and Beyond last year. While it got my Top 1 of the festival, it wasn't particularly inspiring and don't think it made my Top 10 of the year.

When I visit home, my mom and brothers and I almost always do a Waffle House visit. I go for the two egg breakfast but I order both hash browns and grits instead of doing one or the other. And then I eat some of my mom’s biscuits and gravy. And now I want Waffle House.

Denny’s is a grand slam. All Star Special is Waffle House.

Thanks for the clarification. I might have been in my early 20's last time I was at a Denny's. I don't eat eggs, so I wouldn't get an All Star Special which I think they come with. But I did like their hash browns. I'm looking on-line now and they don't apparently still name the different types that come with bacon, jalapenos, onions or whatever. I could do a build your own bowl with no 2 shitty slices of cheese. Been about 2009 since I've last been to Waffle House. It is what it is as they say.
The options - Sausage & Eggs, Bacon & Eggs, Chunks of ham & Eggs, Cheeesesteak; chicken; angus patty. You don't get the choice to not add meat for whatever reason. But you can Add Bacon to that. Additional Toppings - add 2 eggs, chunked with hickory smoked ham, diced with grilled tomatoes, peppered with jalapenos, capped with grilled mushrooms, topped with Bert's Chili; country-sausage gravy.
So I'd probably get the hash browns add in jalapenos (even though I think I remember them using the shitty pickled ones), tomatoes and mushrooms. Probably not worth the $11.00 to just get a bowl of those, but that's what I'd eat over there.
