I did not attend Bonnaroo 2002, but I have enjoyed the Live From Bonnaroo 2002 compilation album for the last 20 years. It includes “Tallboy” featuring Dottie Peoples and the Peoples Choice Chorale, which is the only WSP song I ever get excited about when it comes on.

i can't really claim to be a big panic fan anymore, haven't seen them live since 2011. but that particular performance of "Tallboy > Testify" is one of my all time favorites of any band. first, "Tall Boy" is a great song, period, regardless of one's opinion of Widespread Panic. Second, Dottie Peoples vocals are exquisite. Third, of course, Mikey died, what a month after this performance? Rest in peace. he was a special guitar player.
Forgive the egregious Hunter S. Thompson reference, but looking back now you can see this first bonnaroo, and this performance in particular, as the crashing of the wave of version 1.0 of this whole jamband scene. not saying it died, it certainly didn't, and it's been exciting to see it bubble up and rise again in various ways over the past two decades, but there was certainly some tragedy and tumult in the next four years after this, and you can see those changes reflected in the bonnaroo lineups over the following years (for the better).
I watched an entire 4+ hr WSP show at roo 05 and don’t remember a single thing about it. I skipped them the next night and never saw them again.
I saw them headline Forecastle in 2015, and I left a few songs in. I lump them in the same bucket as Drive-By Truckers. By all metrics, I should really enjoy them both, but they just don’t click for me.
Panic never let me down even though I don’t ever listen to them or watch them. If they’re playing I’m usually going to be there. Same with SCI. People bag on them sometimes or say it’s not technically all that good but they also haven’t let me down.
Of what’s left I do not like Kanye West, Imagine Dragons, 9-11 and long John silver
