With how they treated the RTTD/And... spot this year, would not be surprised if that 4th headliner slot is billed as the biggest name of the weekend, at least that's how I'm gonna bill it on my 2025 mock.
If Bille and/or Harry's new albums do well, don't be surprised to see them return
Harry is easily a one time headliner. Billie will do it again since she is from LA. But again, not needed at this moment. Album 4 prob the soonest cause that would put her maybe 5 years removed.

Based on what for Harry? This would technically be two albums that Coachella didn't get, since Harry's House came out after his performance.
I'd say Harry would be more likely than Billie to be honest.
Especially if we end up in a situation where they still haven't locked in all 3 headliners late into the game (which has become the norm). I can easily see them reaching out to Harry again. I mean, we got Doja back so soon.

Based on they got him at the right place and right time and theres zero incentive to have him come back just cause its a new album and he is being seen as a backup plan. Doja has played the fest once and you think thats total precedent on headliners coming back within no time at all. If they havent had Coldplay return in 20 years and theyre one of the biggest acts in the world then why do it with younger acts. Gonna look really stale on their part. Lolla had Tyler 3 years ago barely. Coachella had him in 2018 billed 3rd and now he is at the top. Lana played 10 years ago and now is headlining. Sense a pattern? The Weeknd really has been the only current act where it was a normal progression of moving up within a consistent time frame.
i got an instagram ad for the "the music of cream" which is eric clapton's nephew and the sons of the other two dudes. paul should book them for the main stage on saturday at 5 pm

FYI, Doja didn’t headline before this year.
I'm aware, but an hour long sub set isn't too far off. I know they've done it with Calvin Harris b2b years too. Basically. I don't see any universe where bringing Harry back next year is a bad idea, if his new album is at least as well received as Harry's House.

This list sure looks a lot more interesting than having Harry Styles again after barely 3 years. Let him hit the LN fest circuit. Lolla would love it cause the single day tickets would be gone in a second. Or they book him for Bottlerock and you have a stadium act doing an underplay like Ed Sheeran is doing this year.
Taylor Swift Dua Lipa Rihanna Olivia Rodrigo Oasis White Stripes Talking Heads Sade Kate Bush
Since Taking Back Sunday is at Coachella this year, it just made me realize that the Big Five emo bands (My Chemical Romance, Fall Out Boy, Panic! At the Disco, Paramore, Twenty One Pilots) have never performed there (and neither has The Used). I'm aware that My Chemical Romance was supposed to be there in 2020 but opted out. Panic! is no longer a thing so that wouldn't work. Twenty One Pilots hate Coachella so they're out. Personally I wouldn't mind seeing Fall Out Boy, Paramore, or My Chem as headliners. Fall Out Boy I think would be spectacularly since they just had a legendary second leg of their Stardust tour and who knows what they would pull for a Coachella set. So, here are my predictions/Wishlist: Fall Out Boy Dua Lipa Olivia Rodrigo Paramore (Olivia could make a guest appearance here)

How much of this list is realistic, though? We've gotten very few splash headliner bookings post-Beyonce. Not impossible, but less likely on most of these. Who knows, maybe the poor sales this year will make them "get serious" in their HL pursuits. Most realistic is maybe one big name like a Taylor/Rihanna, and two not-as-exciting headliners. Recent history says we'll need at least one last minute HL too.

This is part of their problem imo. They've left out a whole generation of acts, seemingly on purpose. Even though the core demographic grew up on those acts. Everyone being hyped for T-Pain should tell them they need to dip into that era of music more, across all genres

Olivia aint on the best terms with Paramore cause she had to give songwriting credit for Good For U since its a carbon copy Paramore song.
Why not just try for My Chemical Romance again and bury the hatchet.
