can't say im expecting it to materialize but i wonder if GV is going to at least throw out an offer to the gallagher bros for 30 years of morning glory
I can totally see the Gallaghers turning down $200 million stadium tour offers to come play for 5,000 people at Coachella for $10 million.
Naw. With No Doubt getting the reception they did then you will have half of england coming here because itll be impossible to see them over there for cheap.

And Coachella is cheap?????
compared to tickets to a hypothetical oasis reunion show, they probably are honestly

It will be compared to trying for a Wembley show. Especially if this is first. Why wouldnt crazy Oasis fans want to hit up the first shows before it goes down hill. You need to ensure you get to see them.

Oasis isn't a socal band and doesn't have Gwen Stefani, so they wouldn't get the same reception. Even 20 years ago, Liam couldn't sing for shit live.

Remember there was a point where more than half the attendees were not from here. And Oasis would get people to travel. Literally at the Blur warm up show there was hardly anyone from so cal at that show. Any stranger i talked to was from somewhere else. If Blur doing a one off in Pomona of all places does this then Oasis will be fine. No guarantee Oasis will actually play anywhere outside of Europe anyway. So all of Latin America would roll up and theres plenty of latin artists that get booked. Gv hit it right on the money pulling this one out of their hat because theres zero indication more shows happen in 6 -12 months. And I had been somebody that had wanted No Doubt at the fest since 2009.
Was thinking about this one and honestly a guest filled hip-hop headliner set like this again (doesn't have to be specifically Dre + Snoop) would work and be fun
After how much I watch these streams every year and enjoy it, I think I need to make it to this soon. Maybe next year.
I say go for it, even on a down lineup year you're going to attend some of your favorite sets of the year. if you start planning early enough you can remove most of the stress about getting accomodations and stuff lined up. plus, if you buy your passes on the payment plan in may or june the high cost of the ticket doesn't hurt quite as bad. yes, coachella is expensive as fuck, but it really is top notch and you can see where your money goes by watching all those sets from your couch over the years.
if you go, I suggest camping because hotels and rentals can be super expensive even in advance (plus, you don't run the risk of your reservations getting canceled).

It is honestly the best festival, even on a down year. You feel like you are in the center of the entire music world and the scenery and logistics and sound/production are heads and tails over everybody else (except for locker lines...).

you absolutely should. its incomparable to anything else. think Primavera but with amazing logistics. if you book lodging, go for a hotel and book the hotel before the lineup drops
