Well if the Trent + Atticus thing pans out then Gv has a good case to maybe even double dip with them. ( rumor is its a single day event and Gv is doing it )
I think the GQ article mentioned their own festival would be a score set from them. Maybe Coachella ends up getting nine inch nails. I think they might draw pretty well closing Outdoor. They def have the production for that slot, would they draw though?
Could they possibly play that No Doubt slot?
They booked Nick Cave and Grinderman so its not a stretch having NIN and then a Trent + Atticus performance. I mean Trent was there this weekend anyway.
Trent and Atticus set that is similar to the Danny Elfman set that is part score, part NIN and How to Destroy Angels is something I would kill to see.
But Trent is self aware enough to know where they would fit into what Coachella is these days. If its a straight NIN set then I think closing the outdoor is the likely outcome. If it happens.

Paramore went independent this year so they had to scrap all their socials and start over without Atlantic managing everything. Should be good to go next year. Will be the 20th anniversary of their 1st album I think they'll get bottom poster placement personally

Would a soundtrack set be enough of a draw to headline a one-day fest? Maybe if NIN are also headlining and curate the lineup

We dont know how big the event is at all. What if its in a theater or multiple venues. For example if they did it at Shrine Auditorium. They have the T + A set in the auditorium so its assigned seating. And you have sets prior to that. Then you use the Expo hall for some other acts and a small side stage outside. If you can only sell the 6,500 tickets due to the auditorium capacity then you aren really pushing it in terms of sales you need. And the whole point was for them to curate. Also, T + A are NIN lol.
