I mean, if she has more socal shows then for sure it becomes less of a ticket mover.
Although slight counterpoint, I’m sure her Coachella set will be a different one than either SWEAT or the new upcoming one. So the appeal is still there for sure.
I guess the other thing is that who says the new shows are Sweat continued
yeah the Yuma picks are pretty trash - I am glad they grabbed Dixon x Jimi Jules, VTSS, Gigola, Sparrow & Barbossa, and Tripolism though .... but there's so much good talent out there that wasn't even picked up by CRSSD or Skyline this year.
Where's is DJ Heartstring, Kettama, Kelly Lee Owens, Rafael, Bedouin, Marlon Hoffstadt, KI/KI, Sally C, Eliza Rose, Luke Alessi, Shyboi, Chloe Caillet, TDJ, Azzecca, Nitefreak, Gioli & Assia, X Club, Logic1000, Sahar, Joris Voorn? All these names are far more exciting than most of the stuff that's gonna land in the Yuma
What an interesting list. Joris voorn? Is it 2013?

They played Sirens of the Sea at Group Therapy 600 so decent chance they'll pull something out.
Also, there was an earlier comment saying A&B will need to play their old material to appeal to the crowd. Umm, no they don't lol. The crowd will be perfectly happy if they play their typical stuff. Highly doubt a lot of the crowd would even recognize their older work so who cares.

That and they’re getting back into their older sound lol
Trance at Coachella confirms the beliefs people on the internet were fighting me about when I said trance is officially on its way back. Funny enough, the first times I saw it was in pop rather than EDM. That Robert Miles piano is making its rounds (see Desire by SG and Tove)

Tried to catch up on 80 pages while I’m on break at work lol, gave up. Line up quacks hard regardless of what we’ve discussed throughout the few months.
Handful of acts we predicted and had confirmed unfortunately didn’t make it but it is what it is. Definitely going to be a great year!

Excited to see A&B this Saturday along with seeing them in the desert.

Joris Voorn and Dixon had the best DJ sets at CRSSD this Spring. So maybe it is 2013 lmao
Is there anything I should be excited about on the Yuma lineup. Right now I’m just looking forward to HAAi since I haven’t seen her before. Don’t see really anyone else jumping out.
Interplanetary Criminal, VTSS (both on sunday)
I caught both at Portola, and VTSS again last week in Phoenix! Might swing through again if nothing else is going on.

Dixon vs Jimi Jules - check out Dixon’s latest live show on YouTube to get an idea of what he is playing nowadays. Jimi also has ton of unreleased IDs that are Fire.
Tripolism has been one of my favorite finds lately, DJ Gigola for solid track selection across hard house techno and trance, Klangkuenstler for techno (and not the Sara Landry tik tok kind lol),
