i don't know shit but personally I kinda doubt Quasar is coming any time soon. if it was already ready to go, why not release it before or during the ticket sale? is it really better marketing for GV to wait a few days after the sale and then drop another lineup with a few more artists? maybe it is, but to me just kinda feels like the simpler explanation is that they haven't gotten it finalized yet and it will be some time before we see it.

The reel makes me thing it's coming soon (I thought it'd be out last weekend) but if it doesn't come out this week then it'll probably come out in the spring or close to whenever it was announced for this year.

I do wonder why we have twigs playing after The Marias given Marias are higher billed. Swapping those would also solve my twigs-missy-prodigy-gaga dilemma by letting us squeeze Prodigy in between Missy and Gaga (regardless of whether we put them in the Mojave or Sahara).

Like 3 acts went after ice spice even tho she was billed third. 22 phoebe bridgers went on before Louis the child and king Gizz even tho she was billed above both. I get that it’s more likely for Maria’s to close given their placement but it also just seems like the wrong vibe to close that stage down.

I generally agree about the vibe, but twigs isn't exactly an upbeat way to end it either (though it is a weirder way to end it). I could see twigs closing the stage, and the Outdoor's broken billing order a few times before for sure. Just figured I'd at least throw it out there, as it both A) generally makes sense billing-wise, and B) solves prodigy conflict issues for a bunch of us by creating space for them outside of Missy/Gaga/Twigs (same as my proposal around sticking Prodigy in the Sahara earlier).

He seems like a great guy who's really into the music. Sure he's spearheading this whole groove tech movement and he's somewhat of an imitator himself but his label curation and supporting of those inspired by him is really nice.

False… they’ve been playing Take Me to the Hospital at the tail end and that song might slap harder than anything they’ve ever written!
Remembering Anti Up closed Mojave last year makes me feel more confident that Prodigy will be in there. I think the tents will have some djs in the beginning and end that will alleviate the heavy Sahara schedule.
