Dua’s a great performer. Even though her new album is kinda mid, I think it’d be a fun set. Her production at Primavera 2022 was excellent. It at the very least will never be accused of being low energy.

That's kind of what I was heading towards, Lana was boring as fuck, Dua would be a lot more fun and is one of the biggest acts on the planet rn, she is not a bad choice for headliner and you're delusional if you think she's a bad pick.
i would say with how Lana flopped they wouldnt book another super low energy hl but they apparantly dont care given the booked her after Frank. However, i will say SZA is very good live so i wouldnt mind her

There was precedent for Frank Ocean to be incredible (see Panorama 2017). Lana’s always been pretty awful live.

no i agree, i love Frank and am probably one of the only people who enjoyed his coachella set. i just meant like, after his set bombed and people ranted and raved about OMG TBA I’m surprised theyd do another super low energy hl the following year
Rihanna is not headlining Coachella lmao. Also Jack Harlow there would just be depressing. Are people really excited for SZA?
SOS has been on the top 10 albums for over a year. She would pull a massive crowd, tickets for her tour were reselling for like $300 to be in the nosebleeds, $700-800 for floor.
SZA would be a perfect closing set on a Sunday. With all the delays on the deluxe version of SOS and potentially LANA, she could very well debut a new show completely different from the SOS tour at Coachella.
Yeah Jack Harlow is depressing but the same could be said about Ice Spice, DJ Snake (for the 10th time), Lil Uzi, Kid Laroi, etc I saw him perform at a party and it was better than most of the rap acts on the lineup this year.

Having been screwed over by Frank for Weekend 2 and seeing that awful Lana set, I’d still be down for a chill headliner. I just dunno what modern artist would be up my alley. I think it’d have to be a legacy act like Fleetwood Mac.
