she is the fucking worst. i really hope she isnt booked. also shes dropping vinyls for sale tonight purely to block charli from hitting #1 in the UK
Don’t record sales only count once they ship? I can’t see how releasing a new variant today would have any impact on the charts for Charlie’s debut week.

Digital sales count. And making it a uk exclusive was the petty part. I guess its 58 variants now.
250k tickets sold between all 3 weekends. Stagecoach is 75k sold out.

Original R.E.M. Line Up...Bill Berry back on drums....much bigger crowd than Blur for sure!!
I'm not even sure I'd go so far as to say most of the Coachella audience would care (or even realize) about having the original lineup, but Blur has one song most people would know, REM has like five, and their biggest is much bigger than Blur's biggest. Even while broken up without new music, they get 3-4x the search traffic in the states; the only times Blur has exceeded them were in July when they released Darren and reunited, and during Coachella this year.
I don't think that REM is remotely considering touring or doing any kind of festival cash grab, but the Coachella audience would absolutely care because the Coachella audience would be made up of a lot of people across the world who would travel to see them.
Whether or not the average John Summit listener would care is completely besides the point in any theoretical example.

So Coachella sold 161K/250K possible? I’m sure they made a profit but that doesn’t seem promising. I’m sure a knockout lineup next year moves that to 200K but another slow lineup we may have to have conversations if it gets down to 140K

Maybe. But I saw their final tour with The National and Modest Mouse opening and they couldn’t even fill a shed-style amphitheater. There was tons of room in the Ga grass areas.
I just doubt the general public who attend Coachella now care about REM at all.

No, let’s have some conversations now. What’s everyone’s favorite thing to get at a Chinese restaurant?
anything on the back page of the menu that's weirdly translated, like twice braised potato pork or something, it's always way better than sesame chicken and the like
Tommy Richman has another one with Devil Is A Lie, if I'm Paul I'm booking him as soon as I can so I can keep the billing demands in check lol. He is about to blow.

I'm sure Billboard has already commissioned a thorough internal review of their mid-April article sourced directly from the PR department at GV claiming 200k tickets were sold when the reality was 160k.
Some people saw through it immediately. Others, not so much.

Yeah I feel like you gotta lock him in ASAP before he builds up to an album.

Let's call it like it was, after New Adventures In Hi-Fi....they kinda just phoned it in. But for the nostalgia of it...Shiny Happy People or What's the Frequency Kenneth on the Fields....that would be something...but it's never gonna happen
