The RTTD/AND act has been the biggest crowd draw the past two years (and might have in '22 with Swedish House Mafia), it feels like the slot for an act that has a bit less freshness than the other headliners, but has big hit songs and a lot of audience appeal. The XX fits with the new model of sub that is a more indie leaning act who doesn't draw as much, but has artistic cred.
The xx headlining Coachella would be just as empty as LCD Soundsystem in 2016, possibly worse. Considering the better, more popular options that should be available next year, I HIGHLY doubt Coachella would go for that.
Yeah, no way they headline after FYF 2018 sold so poorly it got cancelled a few weeks after announcing.
I love Charli XCX but I don't see her coming back next year.. and if she does, she'd probably be billed 3rd or 4th? I'd much rather her close the Sahara than just play the Main a slot or two later than last time. We need the ENERGY

love this overall! couple of things - I don’t think Sexyy Red will be billed that high if she plays. her tour is performing very poorly - NxWorries is missing the o - No RTTD is an interesting choice but Rufus and The xx are huge subs
instead of an RTTD I originally had AND: PARTYGIRL but I thought that looked really stupid so I got rid of it and didn't replace it since I had "RTTD: RUFUS DU SOL" on every fucking mock I made last year and did not want to do that again lol.

i can definitely envision an LCD Soundsystem set times add for this. and Kid Cudi being in the RTTD would make sense too since he did imply he would be back
