The Offspring were my favorite set at When We Were Young. Maybe they're the rock version of cheesy EDM or something, but I lost my voice screaming those songs as did everyone around us. Absolutely zero interest in seeing more than 50 minutes of pure hits from them, and I don't really need to see them again after that, but they put on a great show that bulls-eye'd my nostalgia q-zone.
I really hope there’s a good counter for Olivia Rodrigo.

I took my 11yo niece to see Olivia on her headline tour. It was a veryyyy tight show, the crowd absolutely loved it. However, I’d say the average age of the crowd was probably between 14-17? Lots of parents there with kids.
She’d do great at Coachella, but some strong counter programming would be nice. While her live show was great it felt very stiff and rehearsed, probably since this is her first ever major tour. I don’t get the riot grl/90s indie rock comparisons…saw some people comparing her to Veruca Salt or The Breeders, absolutely not. She was very much in the vein of a Avril Lavigne.

Thats almost every pop star. Theres a little room to improvise but its usually the same every single show. Child stars especially have their training to fall back on and most likely do.

Correct, the person on the coachella inforoo form has never seen live footage or heard the music of one of the most popular artists in the world simply because they said they’d like counter programming.
