Olivia Rodrigo once shot my neighbor dead at point blank range after his dog shit on her lawn. Fuck you.
Dont mess with 909 girlies.
I gotta be honest in spite of any posturing I may do there’s a whole host of Chicago in jokes and references I won’t immediately get so I appreciate you making a reference to Sam Bernardino, California with me

Saw Missy on Thursday night, one of the best shows I've been to in a long time. Quality of performance was nothing short of HL worthy. She wouldn't get the HL placement. But, somehow getting her on the fields would be great. Late add like blink? Bottom poster? Something!
With the new Sahara placement, I wonder if it could handle a massive crowd now? None of the Sahara artists in 2024 really put it to the test. But I wonder if blink and Metro's 2023 crowds would have fit fine in the new placement. Anyways, Missy would be a super party in the Sahara but idk how safe that would be for crowd size lol
Sidenote: Crypto / Staples sound system has been bad for years and it still hasn't been fixed. Ridiculous. The Intuit Dome is going to steal a lot of arena shows from them if they don't step it up soon

Thats on the tour if they have a shitty crew that does their sound. And sound was amazing for Depeche Mode back in Dec at Staples. So Missy needs a new sound guy. When I went to Metallica and Beyonce within a week of each other at Sofi last year it was night and day between the sound quality.
I went to Sarah Mclachlan at Acrisure a month ago and she had the new Pa system that we had in Mojave last year. Unreal sound for the whole show.
Interesting, I never knew they brought their own sound systems to arena shows! Pretty weird that every artist I've seen at Staples has had bad sound then. Never had that issue at any other venue that I've been to multiple times 🤔
If visas become more difficult to come by as of January, what would that mean for how Coachella books international acts? Any chance GV would shadow book a whole bunch of potential replacements for ‘25 in case they get a few weeks out and visas still aren’t in place?

tbh something I could see Coachella doing to give their lineup more of an edge is covering part or all of the increased Visa costs for international artists to make their lineup more unique and enticing for people to travel to. Because realistically, we aren't going to see nearly as many smaller international acts doing widespread US tours anymore

Everyone does. And I will assume if you had bad seats it would contribute to that.

I think they would be locking those acts in right now so they can avoid red tape later. Push as many visas in now as possible. There was only a couple of visa cancellations this year anyway.

Seats weren't bad at all (Really no bad seats in Crypto unless you're in the nosebleeds, the arena isn't that big)

Staples holds a lot more than The Forum and it has a higher roof so its a factor. But yeah, if youre in a good spot and it aounded like cheeks then its on the sound people 100%
Is that why they're skipping the entire west coast, for gv to try and make us go all the way to Coachella to see them play for 40 minutes to just as many people?
didnt they recently not perform somewhere bc of the govt? I feel like the November election may ummmm change any US plans for them after November
I don’t remember Massive Attack saying this and they did the Mezzanine tour in 2019 without incident but who knows. I do remember Nicolas Jaar saying something like that post 2016.
