I don’t really understand why Shakira cancelled an arena tour to do a mix of arenas and stadiums instead of just keeping the original dates then adding more next year.
Because they mightve pulled an Adele and the show wasnt gonna be ready. Also they really did underestimate her draw and are trying ti save face. The worst thing is this stadium run looked to be rumored to just follow up these arena shows. Now theyre just doing some bullshit and not caring. Its a pretty bad look when they claim the show wont fit into an arena and then go straight back and have some arenas in the shitty markets. Im taking my refund and not even bothering with the new date here.
I still maintain Coachella would be the perfect start to the scrapped Above & Beyond Acoustic 3 Tour (thanks again COVID). Outdoor Theatre, sunset...perfection!!!! And since I'm delusional...why not an Anjuna take over at Quasar, either weekend works for me.
No socal tour dates. Off both Sundays 4/13 & 4/20. Quasar likely.
Why do you think Quesar?
Assuming Frameworks is still running the Quasar lineup, Lane 8 would be the perfect fit in terms of extended sets. Usually when he “headlines” his own shows, his sets range from 2-4 hours. “His sets offer a listening experience that is both uplifting and introspective. It's a style that's perfect for those who appreciate a blend of electronic and organic elements, and who enjoy music that can evoke a range of emotions & emotional depth.” A 45-60 min set is honestly very short for him and tends to feel very incomplete.
Nobody seems to realize Crssd is the weekend when Lane 8 has a gap for so cal dates.
I don’t think he will be playing Crssd 3 years in a row; on top of his own headline show this past May in Gallagher Square, as well as TNH takeover at this upcoming Proper NYD.
Artists playing Coachella are barred from performing any festival in North America from December 15 to May 1.
Is Charli more likely for Coachella now that she is doing a Mexico fest the same month as Coachella or is she now out because of the above radius clause? Even the exception dont seem to allow this.
As for Charli being headliner or nothing, will she be top 3 at Reading-Leeds or 4-6?
Hypothetically speaking… what would be the point of dropping the lineup early if Taylor Swift was on the lineup? Feels like her alone would result in an immediate sellout regardless of the rest. I honestly buy the early release date more than her being on the lineup at this point.
Coachella tickets as Xmas gifts, though I am not expecting Swift on the lineup.

At Reading/Leeds I definitely think Charli is a headliner.
There's usually some crossover between Ceremonia/Coachella.
Aphex 2019 Thom Yorke 2020 Rosalia 2023
I would say this makes her much more likely with Tyler being out and Massive Attack maybe giving up on ever playing the US.
Some more specifics from recent years:
2024: Charlotte de Witte, Peggy Gou, bb trickz 2023: Honey Dijon, DOMi & JD Beck, Ethel Cain, Rosalía, The Blaze (half of these weren't announced originally though) 2022: Natanael Cano, 100 Gecs, Channel Tres, Molchat Doma
Also worth noting the lineup announcements have been expanding in recent years. Charli XCX seems like the obvious crossover for us, but we might be looking at more artists this year, especially ones that would strike me as being odd as showing up at just Ceremonia, like Hanumankind.

Lane 8 is tacky and boring. Please keep him and le youth off the poster.

What began as a two week odyssey from "Well if it's not Post Malone then who is it" to "how would you schedule Taylor Swift on a lineup":
If there's mistakes....you didn't see them. (on the clashfinder Green Day gets two hours and T$ gets 3.25 lol)
Beat me to it! A lot of the same names on the one I’ll be dropping tomorrow. Interesting to see the difference of billing, for example you’ve got Kenia Os on the 4th line and on mine she’ll be on the 2nd.
Lots of the electronic that I’ve put in my mocks and the direction I hope Coachella takes… (DJ heartstring, Marlon, etc)
Tyla on the 3rd line while Doechii and Ayra Starr on the 2nd doesn’t make sense though
Bigxthaplug might be higher than that based on his album sales as well
I’m not too sold on any of these artists being on a particular line, it was kind of a pain really since so many of these people have short names lol. I put BigX really low since he’s shockingly low on the Fake Hangout lineup.
