User: Are you doing any dates on the West Coast? Böhmer: Can't tell more at the moment but I can't wait to be back for that tour.
As expected, glad to finally have him in the desert (unofficially).
Bummed about Rufus du sol? Not a worry! You can go see Ben Bohmer and feel like you're on the verge of hearing a Rufus du sol song for 60 minutes!
Ok one of you needs to tell me as someone who doesn’t even mind Rufus why they are so much better than all these other deep house guys. I do not get it.

Because halfway through a Rufus song they remember that the point of House music is to dance to, Meanwhile the other Deep House artists are too busy with "guiding you through a winding and transformative journey" which always ends up being boring as hell

Rufus really sticks to minor chord progressions and bangers.
Lane 8, le Youth, and at some point Ben Bohmer as well, decided they wanted to produce a ton of major key tracks, which for the most part, are hard to make bangers out of and instead just play as boring and uninteresting. for the positivity vibes or something.

hmm. maybe the problem is I like happy hardcore music too much.

Prince Daddy & the Hyena two new songs today. Played Glass House in Pomona this week. Man would I love that but probably even too small for the Sonora
Saw them on a show with Drug Church and Anxious and the energy was insane, people were flying the whole show. Would absolutely love any of them to show up in the Sonora

Yeah their show at the Roxy was amazing
Someone at GV likes them because they've been headlining GV venues since their second album, so hopefully that person has a say in the Sonora

Alan Sparhawk is likely. I commented on a post of his 9 years ago saying Does "see you on the field" mean Low at Coachella 2015? and he just liked it today. Not a coincidence
I'm trying to get his new album to grow on me. Low is a top 3 favorite band of mine. Really hoping we get some Oldchella acts
I had some mistakes on one I posted on Reddit that I fixed on here but got too lazy to add Charli xcx at the bottom. (She would close Main on Saturday after Fred. Anyways here you go lol sorry I am not as professional as you all
Keinemusik, Solomun, and Carl Cox are the Quasar acts with Nitefreak opening for Carl Cox and Gioli & Assia for Solomun
All we’re saying is they would have made more sense than Fred
A nice part of watching a headliner is that it’s a good value play since many headliners shows cost $200-500+ for good seats
When a headliner just did like 10 shows in LA in the last year and it was $65 face value, it’s less of a must see
Vs an artist that costs multiple times a ticket
I mean should we be celebrating price gouging? And if those 10 shows equal out or exceed what's the difference? The Coliseum show alone was a showing that even after doing 10 shows in CA there was still immense demand (like 60k tickets in 5 days?).
Not celebrating price gouging (its actually quite annoying and horrible)
Just saying that it would be great to see expensive artists at a festival that I enjoy, killing 2 birds with 1 stone
Btw general sale for Rufus had no pit tix. $670 for pit 2 on ticetmamster....$450 on tickpick
The thing about arena shows for artists like that is it’s a loooot of tickets up for resale around the date of, which drives the price down. Seems like a ripe event for scalpers to lose money on
