Justice would 100% headline next time they show up no? Like out of the question completely right? I can’t even begin to fathom a Main Stage production setup.
Especially after the Hollywood Bowl, like I would be offended for them if GV gave them anything less.

As someone who just wrote a deeply emotional post about them: they absolutely would not :/
You’re probably right, but I think they’re the best possible candidate for a RTTD spot in the future (either off a new album or a more discog spanning set). Same nod but they avoid the “who the f*ck is Justice” complaints for actual headliner slots

People said this exact same thing (at least on Reddit) about them getting RTTD this year and it didn't happen.
If I can have Gorillaz, Rosalia, and Bjork as subs two years ago surely I can have The Cure as a sub in 2025, right?
I think The Cure is bigger than all those acts, but I would love them on the lineup in any capacity. Robert Smith did say they decided not to do any summer festivals and are going to begin touring in the fall next year.
Ariana deserves a mulligan for her 2019 performance in my opinion. Her label / management essentially forced her to put out "thank u, next" and made her to go out there and perform when she wasn't ready. They pretty much just profited off of her grieving period over Mac Miller. I wouldn't count that show against her, she's a much better performer than that usually. I don't think she should be a 1st choice for Coachella 2025, either. But if by chance she got booked as a last minute thing, her performance would be way better than last time

Pavement was a sub for Gorillaz in 2010 and that was their big reunion, first show back in the states; Gorillaz got bigger since then and are still now a sub; there’s no chance whatsoever Pavement is a sub today. Your hope is for them to be like 4th on their day and close the Mojave.

For any fans of King Gizzard their second leg of the US tour starts tonight at the Forum and they are streaming every show for free on YouTube, pro-shot, pretty sure the first band to ever do this for the fans and sounds like it will continue into the future.
My gut is telling me that Chappell is in. Headlining.
Is that why she was teasing a new album on her socials? Counters any argument that her catalogue is too slight.
She was going to have a new album anyway by next year . But I doubt it is ready by April. Itll probably be finished by then, maybe a single. Theres currently 5 songs for the album that are good to go according to her and her producer. So whatever shows do pop will just have a nice chunk of the album on it. Similar to Harry Styles.
personally Ima go with Rage / Taylor / Fred as my final guess.
Definitely the upper bound of what's possible but taking all of YEazys info about Post/GD subs while trying to book someone bigger than Rihanna/Kendrick into consideration + sprinkle in a little hopium about Rage and it makes sense to me.
tbh I was also operating off memory of someone in this thread previously pointing out Taylor had been mentioned "again" by HDD after that first link was posted, though I am too lazy to trawl through 80+ pages here and can't seem to get the thread search to work properly for the life of me.
HDD has never mentioned Taylor in any context other than being the biggest touring star around. Anything else derived via HDD on that front is hopium.
The one redditor guy has referenced her but is also claiming that two massive acts are also booked as subs. If he's right - fair play to him. Just seems v hard to believe.
