I thought I was F'd for a second. At checkout it wouldn't let me complete the transaction. Kept saying to pick a shipping option, which I did. i ran out of time but thankfully got back in and got the ticket.
sounds reasonable. where is everyone looking for a spot to stay around, any specific area ideal?
Obviously as far South as you can get, but at this point you are almost certainly going to be at about 60th street or above, with the available spots. I booked my condo on 14th in December. The festival starts at around 2nd street on the boardwalk. The bus/shuttles and uber were overwhelmed last year. Getting to the festival you're fine, uber/bus whatever. But expect to have to walk, if nothing else up to about 12th to get an uber after the festival. If you try and drive and park, most of the parking spots are full up through that area as well. The one day last year we drove down from our condo we had to park on 12th I think. That seems to be about the cutoff where things start to filter out.

Stay in OC unless you are really OK to drive back and forth. If you wait you'll be able to get the bus or uber eventually no matter how far north you are.

Given how well last year went I'm sure there's a ton of brokers and the like that hogged the tickets for re-sale. I wouldn't be worried about getting a ticket, just be patient as the fest comes closer.
Edit- to give context I bought a VIP ticket on the weekend of the event from a dude last year for less than face ($500), he had to scramble back home to NY and had to get rid of his ticket.
yea i like to wait it out with shows and it rarely fails. people who cant actually go will take the hit or try to get face back. it goes form a sellers market to a buyers in a few months
Really hoping Jimmie's Chicken Shack is one of the few tba artists.. I've been a fan since the 90's, they're from Annapolis, and yet I still haven't seen them. Also, Turnover is from VA Beach, they'd be a great add too.
