I still think we have Peggy Gou too early based on her billing. Another suggestion would be to move ATEEZ out of Sahara and into a prime Mojave slot, or a 3 way swap with ATEEZ outdoor and Deftones going into Mojave. Ken Carson or Skepta could take an earlier Sahara slot and push Peggy down into a better time.
I think what's off with Friday generally is we have the entire second line playing either Main, Outdoor, or Sahara. Some of those artists can definitely play a Mojave set

I think this is a great idea, so we're trying it out for now.

Sunday thoughts:
Khruangbin’s new live setup is supposed to be pretty extensive. I would imagine sunset or night time set for them. Also, is Anyma confirmed closing outdoor? Jhené Aiko feels more likely for that slot given her high billing. I don’t see why Anyma commands such prime real estate to be honest. It kind of fucks up the Outdoor on that day.
What if it was the following:
- Yachty replaces Khruangbin - Anyma into Yachty slot - Khruangbin + Jhené Aiko both bumped up

Anyma has to be after sunset do to his visuals. I can see the same time slot on the outdoor as Eric Prydz

Is it far fetched to think that Deftones will be opposite Lana in the Mojave? Here are some precedents for why I think this is possible, all of these against a headliner.
Volbeat 16’ Deafheaven 16’ New Order 17’ Jamiroquai 18’ Kaytranada 19’ King Gizzard 22’ 21 Savage 22’ $uicideboy$ 23’

Any links to read about their new stage set up?
Just heard this from a friend who works closely with the band.

Yachty slot as it stands begins 10 minutes after sunset.
Deftones versus Justice would be so devastating for me. Mikey - what are the odds they overlap with Lana or play during her set?
I’ve not gone back over all the recent lineups in depth, but from what I’ve noticed in recent years it seems like GV usually avoids conflicts with the “old” Coachella lineup type artists… example: boygenius not conflicting with Underworld last year. I might be making it up in my head (and definitely wishful thinking), but if a current artist would’ve been a prime fit for the lineups of 10-15+ years ago, I feel like they usually don’t overlap much in the current iteration of the festival. Deftones and Justice fit that criteria, so I’m crossing my fingers this theory has a bit of truth to it.

It's not far fetched to think Deftones and Lana could conflict, though it does seem like their fan bases overlap quite a bit....so while it's definitely possible they're at the same time, it's probably best for us to keep them not conflicting, at least for now.
Last year had Blink added on friday, right? So you could add an artist for Sahara, have Peggy / anti up play after, move Bizzarap to close Mojave (labrinth slot), move deftones to outdoor before everything always and push all of the outdoor up one slot so Deftones play before Puma, Everything Always before Lana, Justice after lana.

Blink being added to the Sahara Friday last year doesn't make it likely that someone else big will get added to the Sahara on Friday again this year.

Just noticed the Yuma closers on here. The highest billed Yuma artist usually doesn't close the tent (Keinemusik did last year though) so I doubt it'll be all three of ANOTR, The Blessed Madonna or ARTBAT. I'm guessing Friday will be Adriatique and Saturday will be Reinier Zonneveld.
Not even sure if The Blessed Madonna will be in the Yuma again. I could see her being early Sahara, maybe swap out with Kimonos? It's been a while since the last billed DJ played the Sahara, with the last being KITTENS but she was an obvious Sahara pick. Kimonos sounds way more Yuma-bound.
Also, if that Sahara video made it a point to mention Peggy Gou and her production, I wonder if she might end up closing the Sahara?

I don't think the Blessed Madonna would play nearly that early, definitely not in the Sahara. My only reasoning for this is just me feeling that she's been around long enough and is in demand enough that even if she doesn't get primetime, she's not getting a throwaway slot like that.
Given the lack of artists this year, just like last year I don't foresee big stages going against a headliner unfortunately. I feel like for whatever reason Coachella has been moving away from that. The first few years I/you went, it was always wild how *every* stage went to 1am and they all were bumping for the most part.
