is this confirmation already reflected in some way in the set times?
Yes. I'm realizing people might have taken what I said earlier as a hint at a late add or something, which it was not.
I’m confused on how it’s already reflected in the set time predictions… feel like it should be more obvious if you’ve already adjusted the times for whatever you’re hinting at.
Yeah, I mean - this is at 6:35pm and the sky is still blue:
There aren't shadows at least (thanks to the palm trees) but the sun still hasn't dipped below the horizon. Even if you don't want to get pedantic about the definition of sunset, it doesn't even start to look like sunset until at least 5 songs into Sofi's set. Anyhoo. If Krhuangbin is sunset outdoor, they should be starting no earlier than 6:15 IMO.
Okay, I don't see why a sunset slot means that they would have to start at sunset and end in darkness vs starting at golden hour and ending as the sun is setting. Sure, we can try and shift them up by like 5-10 minutes (we already have them starting at 6:10, I'm not sure moving them up by 5 minutes is really going to move the needle on if most people would consider that the "golden hour" or "sunset slot") but if we move them to the later slot (where Jhene Aiko is) that's not a sunset slot, that's a night slot.
This Sofi Tukker slot WAS the sunset Outdoor set Saturday last year, since they ended as the sun was going down....otherwise we're suggesting that nobody got the sunset slot on the Outdoor Saturday last year.
Ok first: I just realized I've been looking at the visual of the set times, not the updated clashfinder, my bad. I agree fully that Sofi Tukker was sunset Outdoor and that you can end at sunset. I suppose I agree Khraungbin is closer to sunset than Jhene, but neither of them is actually during the specific moment of sunset. I would still push Khruangbin 10-15 minutes later and just accept more overlap between the main and outdoor. Last year W2, Dominic Fike ran 25 mins into Bjork, who ran ten minutes into Fisher/Lake, while Rae Sremmurd and Kali Uchis almost entirely overlapped. Sofi Tukker and Rosalia overlapped by all but 20 mins of Sofi's set. All of those overlaps except for Bjork/Fisher/Lake were 15 mins or more W1 as well. The only sub that got a quiet Outdoor was Gorillaz; hell, boygenius got a quiet main and Rosalia did not get a quiet Outdoor. We can have more than 5-10 minutes of overlap with all the acts before Doja Cat.

I am betting it has something to do with Anyma "having" to close the Outdoor on Sunday even though it isn't an official confirmation. If it isn't a late add, maybe Anyma does something crazy and has visuals on Main at the same time as Outdoor?

Something like this would support their high billing

Anyma and ToU are huge. Sahara was packed like sardines for their set last year.
I think Tyler will still close. Blur > No Doubt > Tyler flows better, and also he's gonna have an insane amount of production so having him last would make things easier.

Brutalismus, Orbital, Oneothrix, and Jungle all overlapping with Blur is a nightmare scenario. Also would be absolutely shocked if Hermanos overlaps with Khruangbin, that seems super unlikely.

Friday right now is pretty perfect for me. That 7-9pm window Saturday is such a shitshow, that would be a real bummer and makes the entire day look weaker to me, knowing how many acts I'd miss. Sunday there's nothing I care that much about after 8pm and nothing I care at all about after 9:30pm lol (I need to listen to Carin Leon still though). Not ideal!

Saturday is one of the most stacked Coachella days ever for me. Sunday is pretty weak, but I don't mind a more weak Sunday to kinda just fuck around and not have to worry about sprinting from set to set.
No Doubt before 11 is worst case. Looking at the Clashfinder between 7 and 11 is absolute chaos. And now Sunday is a wasteland...Barry Can't Swim, BICEP, and my wife loves Renee Rapp, that's about it. I am hoping they Jai Paul somebody and move people from Saturday to Sunday.
