I wouldn’t have Butterfly, but other than that I wouldn’t complain.
that's good, i'm low key using this survivor as a barometer for which king gizz albums i should listen to more closely. i do think murder of the universe is cool and am surprised it went out when it did.

This shows how great they really are, Quarters, KG and LW would also get consideration for top 10.

yeah i've been relistening to some of them as they get eliminated, i really like Quarters. KG and LW still haven't really sunk in for me yet but I'll listen again.

It’s a very unique sound on those albums. I can see people not liking it. For me that’s part of why I love the band. There’s nothing else that sounds like that. They continue to do that with different sounds.
Yeah it’s a very solid top 10, everything we have up to Rats Nest should be considered locked in as top tier stuff and I think we nearly picked out the best of the post Covid releases as well. Rooting for FA/FYL but I can’t see us screwing this up too badly from here on out

so yeah i just put on KG, see i remember these songs when i hear them but there is just so much king gizz it's hard to remember song titles. but Automation rules, i love that crunchy sound, as does Minimum Brain Size. i got really into minimum brain size when i heard it on one of their bootleg gizz releases.
so much of what is great about gizz is the rhythm section. absolutely top tier bass and drums throughout. you can really feel it on a song like minimum brain size, which feels kind of quiet, and of course the guitars are interesting, but the drumming and bass is like the blood pumping through the veins of the song.

I agree the drums really stand out on those albums. KGLW is my most listened band according to last.fm and I probably wouldn’t know every song. I definitely don’t know most of the lyrics or any idea what the songs are about. There’s just so much of it and it all sounds cool.
Everything that's left is top tier in its own way. I'm voting Petrodragonic because it's just so new still and hasn't settled with me the way most of these others have. It is the only Gizz I have on vinyl though.
