There's no question whether alcohol or weed is more damaging for individuals and society, and the prevalence of use has nothing to do with it. Make them the same popularity, it's still going to lead to way more domestic abuse and auto accidents. And pot literally can't lead to physical addiction with withdrawals that kill you. It's disingenuous to act like they're equivalent things.
all this. Yes. I truly didn’t know stating the facts about how harmful alcohol is to individuals and on a macro level would be this hotly contested thing lol. You don’t have to be a teetotaler to be cognizant of this
Considering you've found the need to respond to my threads as if you are threatened by me I offer you some peace my confused counterpart. May you find peace in your restless soul.
More people have committed crimes or whatever while drunk because simply more people are drunk in general by far. I just think it's weird that the main argument for alcohol being bad is that it's just the most accessible.

something like 70% of adults drink, compared to like 17% consume marijuana so it's not even close. and super high people should def probably not be driving and im sure cause plenty of traffic accidents. dogs kill like 60,000 people per year i guess they're way more dangerous than lions who only kill 200

Can you produce any evidence that marijuana legalization led to increases in traffic fatalities in the states where it occurred? It's been at least a decade in some places and there are plenty of states where it's still illegal to use for controls. Any study I've ever seen about the deblilitating effects of marijuana on driving ability liken it to a BAC of like .02 or .03. It's just not the same thing.
