It’s kind of dumb. People throughout the millennia had to know, but they should have been over who can kick who’s ass by 5th grade or so. The surrounding/side drama of some of the weigh ins is dumb. The promotion is dumb. And people who gather every week to watch it on pay per view are pretty dumb too. Cheers.

The purpose of the sport is to injure someone or knock them unconscious. You know, stuff that will get you rightfully arrested literally anywhere else.

Don’t be dense. Injuring someone or knocking them unconscious is not the sole purpose of football or hockey. They should probably do more to discourage fighting in hockey, though. Adults should be able to come up with better ways to resolve conflict.

I don’t think children should play football. That seems to be a relatively recent thing.

Personally love MMA, it’s definitely barbaric but that’s one of the reasons I love it. Great sport to watch, fun sport to compete in. Some of my closest friendships have been built through combat sports and the mutual respect they require

Anyone voting for baseball because it’s boring should watch a cricket match. It’s like baseball but with less action and it can literally last multiple days of six hours of play a day.
