Proof once again that I have no idea what I'm talking about. LOL.
Anyway, biggest takeaway from this is that I can't believe Renee Rapp *and* MUNA are billed higher on Saturday than Chappell Roan. I know they're both popular in their own right, but sheesh.
Unless, of course, the ink on all of this was dried months ago before CR really started to explode in popularity.
Do you want to dance while also thinking about all the ways you've failed as a human?
UPCOMING SHOWS 8/17 - King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard @ Forest Hills 9/4 - Pearl Jam @ MSG 9/7 - Pearl Jam @ Wells Fargo Center 9/11 - St. Vincent @ Brooklyn Paramount 9/13 - Lucius/The War on Drugs/The National @ Forest Hills 9/19 - Stars @ Music Hall of Williamsburg

Yea, Chappell will have the biggest crowd of the weekend and it won't even be close.
Chappell is getting the Lizzo treatment with these placements. Bookers must be stressing on where to place her when they agreed to these slots months ago.

I wonder if going forward this will reduce the demand a little bit at Merriweather Post. This year's sale and last year's sale have been nuts to navigate.
I wish instead of two cities they found a venue that could handle 3 quality stages and like 40,000 people which Merriweather obviously cannot

I mean its at Forest Hills, theres nowhere to go when its a one stage fest.
So where's the LA version since theyre gonna be keen on expanding this thing.
u guys already get too much they should throw a bone to Boston since we have all the gay college students up here
Thats why theyre making you go to Ny.
alas, its the same weekend as Charli so i’ll have to miss it this year. i’m aiming to be in LA in 2028ish anyways so just a few more years of being in a secondary city
I want to go to this, I do, but the timing of it sucks - three days in a row commuting to Forest Hills (going to Idles on the 27th) and I already have a crapload of shows before and after this, and need a breather in there! Even if I do one day, which day - would love to check out Chappell Roan and Renee Rapp but also really want to see Janelle. Oy.
