If Crane is really back to a covered tent (which rocks because tents are always better than stages unless it's the main stage) then I honestly think the only option left is for it to go Rufus playing for 1.5 hours during sunset since they are the big font "headliner" and will get the longest set, and Gesa closing for an hour on Pier. Gesa does not work when it's light out and won't work in any of the other three venues. Tycho --> Rufus --> Gesa, with one of Jamie xx/Soulwax on Crane between Rufus and Gesa like Jai Paul, one closing Crane against Gesa, Four Tet and Bicep in the Warehouse? Or, if Warehouse can't accommodate Chroma visuals, maybe it's Bicep on Crane and Jamie xx gets put back in the Warehouse?
This is almost exactly like I have my mock. Jamie and Four Tet both in Warehouse, Rufus and Gessa both on Pier, and Soulwax and Bicep both on Crane.
Justice (saw @ Coach but wife's phone got stolen halfway through and ruined the vibe) Soulwax (Didn't do fun drugs back then and Coachella '18 set I was wayyy too drunk and have been dying for a redemption) Jersey Disclosure Rufus du Sol Gesaffelstein Pretty Girl Jamie xx Barry Can't Swim (would be much higher if I didn't feel like there was no way that perfect Gobi set could be topped vibes wise) DJ Heartstring

But I'm just starting my lineup research really.
Your wife’s phone got stolen in the Guest section of the outdoor? Didn’t know those phone thieves balled out like that. But regardless of where it happened that sucks.

Either guest or the line to get into guest, yes! She had it at the beer garden and then we walked straight into the pit for Justice and halfway through she noticed it was missing. Then located it on the freeway driving away from the fest.
Justice (missed at life is beautiful a few years back) Jamie xx (never go into the xx but his music has clicked more and more for me over the years) Rufus (also missed a LIB but it was an aftershow and harder to make it) Soulwax (had tix during covid and the show was never made up) Barry Cant Swim (newer discovery for me this year and he keeps growing on me) DJ Peewee (Paak is one of my fav artists so this is a cool side thin to see) JPEG (nice change of pace thrown into this lineup) Disclosure (been a while, like most of their stuff) Peaches (you know) Fourtet/Bicep/Neil Frances
We have all been really positive about this lineup, anyone wanna hate for a minute? What is your least favorite act on the lineup???
For me, I am looking at Maddy Maia. The only repeat artist from each year, and I don't know why. I assume she has some kind of connection with the fest but I was not happy waiting for Underworld. Probably not her fault but the bass was turned wayyyy too high and it made me feel sick while waiting for Underworld at the corner rail of VIP. I ended up moving way further than I wanted to be and it kind of ruined my vibe for their set. Her track choice was also non memorable or good, it just turned me off in a major way.
Fine, fine, since you asked so kindly, I’ll gladly to take this moment to say again that Bicep Chroma sucks absolute shit.
I’m trusting your opinion on this since I feel we’re mostly aligned on our taste. I imagine it will conflict with something else I want to see and will likely skip.

(I’m exaggerating how much I disliked it, it was just definitely inferior to their standard live show and I’d definitely see other artists if you have other conflicts at that time.)
After looking at this more I really do like this lineup but I have ELO on Friday and Charil- Troye on Monday and I like SF too much to just do a rushed 48 hour trip for this. Oh well hopefully next year the timing will work out better.

I caught most of their set Sunday at Coachella. Very nice, but definitely seemed to be lacking from my expectations. Sadly never caught their live show :/ They are probably a skip for me, but if the schedule is clear I wouldn't mind stopping by to hear them again.
I have literally nothing to hate on for this lineup, but I did not enjoy Peaches at all when I saw her open for LCD Soundsystem in December. I feel like whatever made her so revolutionary back in the day has not aged well but the crowd was going absolutely nuts and she's still out there doing her thing so I am happy she's on the lineup.
Quick glance on Reddit, but looks like tix made it to Tier 3 during the presale (but stayed at Tier 1 for VIP). I don't remember how many tiers there were last year but I think this might actually sell out this year.

I recall seeing some people complain that they got VIP only to have to walk a ton to get over to the lockers; makes sense there'd be some in VIP if they're going to keep them where they were this year.
Alternate possibility re: tiers is just that they had fewer tickets in the lower tiers for the presale, and tickets will be more expensive in the regular onsale in January. Really impossible to say at this stage.
I won a free “KIP” upgrade back in 2022, and the main stage views from vip were insane, especially for James Blake and Chem Bros. So after how shitty this month’s been (including having to cancel my Primavera trip), I’m treating myself to real vip this year! I’ve never had the money to splurge like this before, so I’m stoked!

Keeping up with what’s going on and wanted to say congratulations on splurging. You absolutely deserve it.

I spent the past 24 hours going back and forth on this....
