Yeah when I googled her that's what I got from the pics. But she isn't playing Amy Winehouse in the new biopic that everyone hates. I guess that's why. Anyway, British people terrify me, and I try to stay away from them.

i'd never heard her but she was just on SNL, Kristen Wiig episode i think. she was quite good. big band with a brass section and backup singers and the whole thing, 1930s vibe. not the type of music i reach for but she's got the talent.

My argument for turnstile is that they were 2nd billed next to Foo at Riot last year, they are young and they are slowing going more pop.
I voted for The XX bc I think they peaked like 10 years ago. Also King Gizz releases to much filler music they are like the Gucci Mane of rock music and Gucci never headlined major fests either
i get the feeling Raye will headline festivals in UK and the EU but peak as a sub in the US. idk why just a gut feeling
Am i bugging but did Amy Winehouse ever headline U.S fests? Maybe its just bc im younger but I kinda feel like she got WAY more popular after she passed. Kindy like Nippsy

She played at like 2pm at Lolla and it was on the north stage

She definitely got bigger after, but she was on the rise beforehand.
I’m probably one of the bigger Gizz fans on the board and I see no path to them headlining one of the 4 fests we’re discussing, unless Bonnaroo has major budget cuts in the next 10 years. It’s cool they’re leveling up in venue size but I just don’t see them ever achieving the crossover success needed
