For me it was between The XX and Summit. The XX seemed to have plateaued and Summit will be headlining major EDM fests and maybe get to close a stage at lolla or acl at some point but that can be a bit of a crapshoot with EDM artists and EDM artists definitely are much more likely to drop in mainstream appeal. Also his lifestyle doesn’t exactly seem sustainable so will he even be alive in 2034? I went with the xx.
I didn’t notice Billy Strings up there or else I probably would’ve voted for him. Still pretty sure he is something that this board made up and he doesn’t exist outside of it.

He generally sells out multi-night arena/amphitheater runs and has only blown up the last few years even though he's been around a while. Jazz Fest is his most likely headline of the big festivals or Summer Fest in Wisconsin. But he could be legacy Sunday Bonnaroo headliner in 10 years if he stays on his trajectory and continues to thrill the crossover rock and jam fans with his grass roots. So even though I think he's the most talented artist on the list (couple others are close), he's definitely got the path to the top if he gives enough of a shit about that.
