Sorry, Rufus. I just don’t think most EDM acts have much staying power - especially at headline status. Could they headline in the next couple years? Sure. Will anyone care in ten years? Probably not.
Megan was in the number one movie and had the number one track in America like two or three months ago. Usher/JLo stuff. She could be doing the Super Bowl in ten years.
I am having fun thinking about a boygenius reunion at the Super Bowl halftime show someday, though.
Chappell is in danger of elimination way too soon and i feel like her voters have not seen her live show
Getting bumped at #9 is not way too soon for someone nobody here knew about a year ago.
But I think the fact that no one knew about her a year ago may potentially give her a higher and later ceiling than some of these others. We’re talking ten years out here.
