I have 2 GA tics. Will be my 1st time since 2019. Was on a 9 in a row streak before the COVID Times. Tried to go to the one in the Fall and one was rained out and then meh. Hoping for a really good lineup. Loved my Roos. Had minor stuff happen in 12 and 13 and 17, but still great experiences all.
Wondering when they will open up their site to allow you to rent a tent? That's what I've done since 2014. Expensive for sure, but no angst about where you'd end up, good quality tent for any rain, electricity, etc.
Sent an email 3 days ago (the AI help thing wasn't any help) and no response yet.

Finally received answer from Roo people. Next time tics are available, the tent rental part will be working.

Hmm, so 3post1jack1 was pulling our collective leg and 2024 was not the last Bonnaroo? Imagine that! I'll probably return then.
This year was #11 for me, 3 for my bestie, 2 for three of her kids and the older son's wife, and they brought three first timers along. I was impressed that everyone had such a good time (maybe I'm not crazy?). It sounds like they all want to go again, and we'd most likely have at least one or two more Gen Z'ers.
Any issues with those tents? Our group will camp in regular GA and probably do Tuesday so we can be by the arch again, but I know another Gen X couple that is interested. They're not big campers and would rather spend any amount of money to minimize the hassle. They like the idea of having a predetermined, pre-set spot, but camping with us would probably be the easiest for them, if they'll go that early.

Glad y'all are gong to return! On rent-a-tents, I have never had any problem with the actual tent. Except for when I dithered one year and the good ones were gone and had to get a 'souvenir' tent, the tents have all been very heavy canvas ones, like what you might take on a safari. Great for if we get heavy rain, IMO. The souvenir one was OK, just smaller and lighter in weight, etc. Had electricity, which is awesome (we left it when we bugged). My problems (and this has been seldom) is the cots can be crap. The other quibble was where you are placed within the neighborhood. I have always liked being in the middle, not on the outskirts. Got put there a couple of times and had to really throw one to get moved. Think it makes for better security to not be one of the first tents a thief might hit.
I also just love the closeness to Centeroo. No angst about where you might end up in GA. Back in the day I got put out in some godforsaken campground (Pete Rose?) and had a one way 1.5 mile trudge to Centeroo. Through the gravel dust every day and night. After about coughing up a lung at my house, decided I could not do that again. Thus the rent-a-tent!
You are an oldtimer, so you know what stuff to have.
