unless they go butt rock route and don’t book industrial bands lol
I doubt it. They had the small stages curated that way and that made them unique to the Wimmer fests.
True. Still curious to see how that lineup will turn out. Kinda annoyed it’s the same weekend as Coachella but this is not the thread to talk about SNW so I’ll shut up lol
I also got an email saying that one of the bands I suggested in the survey is booked for next year. Did anyone get an email about the presale that DIDN'T say that? I kinda wonder how true it is.
Anyway, I think the bands I suggested were bar italia, Sufjan, feeble little horse and Yo La Tengo.
My email doesn't say a band I listed is booked. It says, "Thank you for the artist suggestions! Our acts for KBP6 definitely have some crossover with your tastes that you will hopefully enjoy! 👀"
I don't remember what I suggested but I know for sure one was St. Vincent.
So I guess they didnt do anything today. So much for saying Oct 1 in the email.
The email I got last week said they would announce the presale on Oct 1 and I got another email today (Oct 1) that announced the presale, with an early bird for previous buyers a day early. Bummer you didn't get it.

Ok random. My email said a link would come. Hmmm Edit: oh god, it went to my spam
Ok. So it seems based on reddit comments that it wasnt that like private of a sale? So its just on 24tix and anyone can buy them. So what was the point?
11/19: Caribou 11/22: Ranger Trucco 11/29: Armand Van Helden* 1/16: L'Impératrice 1/30: Jamie xx 2/1: DJ Seinfeld 2/7: Mild Minds* 3/1: Father John Misty* 3/19: Confidence Man 3/23: DARKSIDE 5/8: Rüfüs Du Sol
Fuck yeah that would rule. But Kilby made it worthwhile I guess? Like lets say they were the Thursday act over Nick Cave. Unless they had both? That would be a coup and a half. The Thursday might work well because theres nothing to say you cant give every act performing a longer set anyway. They need 75 at minimum.
