On another note, how does everyone like this new format?
It has been fun. I think you shouldn’t have been random about what got in. I know you had more than 20 and it was probably hard to decide, but I know there were some obvious omissions, like Disturbed. Maybe get together with a group that isn’t playing to get a better consensus on the 20 that are going to be involved?

I didn’t play because I don’t have any opinions about most of these bands, but I enjoyed following along and seeing how it went.
Also, I think it’s been a couple of years since I mentioned it, so this is when I’ll say that I went to high school with Brent Smith from Shinedown. He was a grade above me, and I didn’t really know him, but I had a friend who went out with him a couple of times (as I understand it, they had different accounts of how many times, but I believe it was at least two). I saw him play in a high school talent show once. Try not to be too jealous.
On another note, how does everyone like this new format?
I ended up enjoying it more than I expected to, but I don’t think it should be the format for every Survivor. An occasional switcheroo like this may be fun, though.

Agreed. It was a lot of fun but it wasn't really survivor. More of a strategic guessing game. But would be down to do it with other genres or categories.

First day sophomore year of college, I took something I shouldn’t have and had a really terrible day. I was alone in my dorm for like 4 hours. The light at the end of the tunnel was meeting my brother at the worst venue in Atlanta to see Shinedown because I got the free tickets from that lawsuit Ticketmaster lost. We went as a joke and went super hard for Second Chance. Got there a little late and sprinted in for Sound of Madness. Salvaged a horrible day and got me out of a bad mental state so for that, I will vote 12.
