I have a good recipe with brussels involving korean gochujang but yeah I don't expect them to last too much longer.
Brussels sprouts = cabbage. No need to have both. It's like having both squash and butternut squash on there.
Though you might could do most of the shit you do with cabbage to Brussels sprouts, I can think of more types of cabbage and uses too. Smothered, kimchi, fresh and crunchy added with some finely sliced radishes to finish a bowl of pozole, some regional tacos, egg rolls, vegetable soup, golumpki - that’s just top of head falling asleep. They also have a pretty wide variety of flavors.
Asparagus is a close 1st. It’s been spoken about. I’m fine with it fresh (not out a can or frozen) and will usually finish as much as I am served. I eat it more than a couple of things still here but not super often.
Also lmao at the pj corn vote. Haha. Corn needs to make the top few, so hopefully it’s going to be a while yet.
They should be in the finals along with tomatoes corn and or mushrooms. Potatoes are. And today I ate a fuck ton of Peruvian multicolored roasted with extra virgin garlic and rosemary. Parboiled off with baking soda for extra crunch. 8/10
