I dont really care for onions on or in much of anything. But I'm not going to waste my vote on it since its fairly sure to last to the latter rounds. Squash(ed)
Spinach gets lots of points for being a super food with all its nutritional benefits. It also makes a good ingredient to a lot of my favorite soups and stews. And spinach dip is pretty good. Bell peppers are fine. I like slicing them up and dipping them in some hummus. But won't miss them when they are voted off.
I just need to keep reminding myself that this is the group who thinks Spicy Pie is good pizza.
100% sub-par pizza and not somewhere I'd ever go to if they had a pizza restaurant. Did it win a Bonnaroo food survivor or something in the past? Sure, I've had slices or bites. But I also know of a couple people that it gave the hershey squirts to. Dry, lifeless, cheap and good with that Lot Bear from Millur
Bell peppers have not gotten enough hate for sure. If nothing else, the seeds are a pain in the ass.
If you slice down one side on it like it was a square, you can turn the pepper in a circle, cutting as you go, and remove the edible part without ever touching the seeds or most of the ribs. It is very easy to julienne or dice from that.
Potatoes boring? Yikes. This is going off the rails. Hash browns, mashed potatoes and gravy, french fries, twice baked, gnocchi, potato souffle', latkes, stuffed, scalloped, etc. If you think yellow and red ones are boring, try purple ones. Also sweet potatoes rule, and the holidays wouldn't taste the same without them. And Ube.
Also Mississippi White Sweet Potatoes aka Bonita Potatoes ftw.

Right. Potatoes when seasoned, sauced, fried are a staple of American cuisine and tasty as fuck. But if you ever just steam one and bite into it without adding anything it's like one of the most bland foods there is. At least among foods on this list.

Why would you eat anything unseasoned though?
Depends. Some seasonings are too spicy for some people. My girlfriend and my brother for example are two people in my immediate circle that just can't handle nearly any level of spice. Other reasons might be for health or a low sodium diet. Also if you're actually a slug pretending to be human.

Yankees probably. And not from Buffalo where they like spice. All of these, except potatoes, are edible raw without any seasoning. But all of them are better with something added be it spices, herbs, dips, dressings or whatever. Brussels sprouts suck raw, but they suck anyway. Quick and Dirty with obvious room for more thought:
Corn - butter, salt and pepper (alternative boiled with shrimp or crawfish so lots of cayenne and salt)
Brussels Sprouts - Taste like shit, so put some shit on them.
