Growing up my first car was a ‘79 Toyota Corolla hatchback that was rust brown. While I was out skating one day, I met a guy, Jeff, who had the same car. We became fast friends because he was the absolute best guy I’ve ever met. We decided to go get personalized licenses plates together. I got “Pumpkin” and he got “Pie”. We drove around for years parking next to each other just for the hilarity of it.
I finally got rid of my car because I got “Back in Black” stuck in my tape deck on the way back from Memphis and that was the absolute last straw. He passed away a few years ago. Fuck Cancer.
