Big Jerry Rice fan but Brady accomplished a lot more. And frankly when kids today think wide receiver, they think Randy Moss.
Lebron has never been better than Jordan a day in his life and never will.
Can't get excited about super specialized sports that people only care about once every 4 years. Particularly if it involves judges.
not sure its possible to know less ball if u think 2008-09 LeBron wasnt better than MJ's best season
There's no point in litigating the MJ-Lebron thing because people wont change their minds, but to me, the LeBron argument really only hinges on longevity. None of LeBron's individual seasons really hold up on PER or win shares, particularly one where he didn't even win a title.

It’s hard to argue with 6-0 in the finals. So I’m always going to side with Jordan. Lebron is definitely not far behind though.
But this survivor isn't about the world's greatest athlete. If it was, Nanu as played by Jan-Michael Vincent would win. The question is which has had the least impressive career. Everyone is encouraged to follow the direction but that doesn't mean you can't vote however you want up to including personal biases or even sabotage. There's no one in this survivor that hasn't had an impressive career though.

using PER in 2024 I am crying
I'm trying to find anything that would validate this all-time season he had that eclipsed Jordan, particularly in a season where he lost at home as the 1 seed to Hedo Torkoglu.

Hedo Turkoglu was famously the best player on that team. Also that Cavs team was trash outside of LeBron.
I think we can go for Phelps now. no one actually cares about swimming like be fr
I do. I caught all the finals for mens/womens stroke swimming and medleys and the mixed ones as well. I think swimming and track are the most exciting two sports in the Olympics.
in a desperate bid to save Rice, who in multiple decades has been considered the 1st or 2nd best NFL player ever, I would like to throw Jack Nicklaus name in the arena for best golfer ever, which is something I see a lot of.
I think hockey doesn't have as big a tent as many of these other sports but Gretzky benefits by being the undisputed #1 in his lane.
Isn't there a sizable Ronaldo truther population who claim he's the GOAT over Messi? I don't care a whole lot about soccer but do have respect for them as athletes and the sport itself being truly global.
