Was every state put into a random list generator and you just picked the first 20? I think Vermont in the 8-10 range is right. It seems really nice but it gets very cold.
yeah but I realized last night the list I pulled from had DC instead of Wyoming for some fucking reason so it's not perfect

Does this mean we know with certainty that Wyoming will not be appearing in this survivor?

Conversely it means Washington D.C. is in. I've never been except to land at the airport and change planes (which was Virginia anyway). Seems like an overpriced city with shitty politicians and lobbyists but also The Smithsonian. So I don't know where I'd rank it. I don't have an opinion on Wyoming. It's rich republicans who bang their high caliber weapons but I guess with Yellowstone and some of the Rockies it can't be terrible. I'd have it in the 30's though.

Wait, if it's just the first 20 "states" of a random number generator does that mean states like California, New York, and Colorado might not be on the list? Lol

I'm not sure how to handle the states I've never been to. Here is how I would rank my desire to visit those states from most desirable to least desirable. Everything below the line I really have no desire to visit.
Alaska Oregon Maine Vermont Wisconsin Idaho New Hampshire South Dakota ------------------------- North Dakota Delaware Iowa Nebraska Arkansas
Is this ranking appropriate? Is there any reason at all to visit both Dakotas? Is there a good reason to visit New Hampshire besides "Well, we're in Vermont; we might as well see New Hampshire too"?

Why the Arkansas hate? Much of it is incredibly beautiful. Some of it is Pine Bluff. But more of it is better.

Well, I don’t know. That’s why I asked. I figured there’s a reason it’s MIMAL’s ass.

Yes that's what makes it fun.
idk I think there would have been better arguments if we made sure florida, ny, cali, etc were in it

Oh. Well yeah. It’s got two different mountain ranges, Buffalo River, Hot Springs, Eureka Springs, crysral caves, a Diamond mine, Petit Jean, cool ass cities in the NWA and I personally dig Little Rock. Do some image searches and you will see.

Now do Nebraska.
I would probably visit Omaha but otherwise I don’t need no Nebraska or Kansas. I always figured I’d never go to Oklahoma either until our friends got married in Broken Bow during the eclipse totality. Broken Bow was nice.

Why? Just because they are the most populated?
They have the most personality and variables to debate about, which is correlated with the high population and probably mostly caused by it too. But even like Hawaii isnt massively populated but is more interesting to think about than vermont.

Subjective and the states aren’t apples to apples. Vermont has had an outsized influence on culture and politics in good ways. That’s unarguable. It’s in no universe only the 30th best state in the country. That’s what this ignorant round of voting has determined. If people can’t find more than 20 shittier states than Vermont, that’s on them. 2016 election imho.

I cant imagine there being 20 lamer states than vermont.

Education usually solves problems. Sometimes it takes a couple of generations.
Vermont is dope. But all the people saying it sucks have either never been or are from huge places like Florida and Texas with tons of people or both. Two rounds in and it seems this survivor will mostly come down to "cool", popular/populated places dominating the smaller tucked away getaway-from-it-alls. Just because bigger means better I guess. Basic as fuck, but I suppose it makes sense for inforoo so I won't get too bent out of shape about it. Anyway here are some fun interesting facts about Vermont that definitely won't sway any of the haters.
It is illegal to serve articial maple syrup in restaurants and to stock it in grocery stores.
Billboards are illegal.
Public nudity is legal.
Montpelier is the only state capital without a McDonalds.
Vermont was its own country for longer than Texas was.
