I worked at a TJ Maxx for a month or two in the late 90s. There were a couple of Saturdays when I was the only person on the floor, and the managers couldn’t understand why I wasn’t upbeat and cheerful when dealing with customers. Also, I found a Polaroid of a naked guy hidden in the sweaters one day.
I haven't been to TJ's in probably 30 years. It used to feature knock-offs from other stores that couldn't move the merchandise and "Irregular" clothing. It took me a while to figure out what that even meant. Those levi's for $19 were a good deal. Until you realized one of the pockets were stitched with the wrong color thread or diverged in their patterns. Maybe they don't sell that kind of stuff anymore - I don't know. But I do know I one time bought a pair of stone washed or acid washed jeans (again it's been decades) that disintegrated in the washing machine in the first wash. That turned me off to them because I wasn't getting my money back. I'm going 17.
I love TJs/Marshalls/Home Goods for their home goods and are some of the only retail stores that I step foot in. I hate it for clothing. I don't really like shopping for clothes in the first place and especially hate having to spend time time sifting through the racks.

There's a LV in my mall, but I have only walked past it. I've never cared to even really look inside.
I should mention that I am currently at 12, but likely will change and go higher.
I have no idea where to go here because I’m not sure what could be coming up. I literally never go clothes shopping unless I have to go for work, wedding or funeral.

Yeah, I do the bare minimum clothes shopping to survive and it's usually online. Once a year, I might stroll through JCPenney or Kohls or something.
I'm not sure how I am voting yet. Like, am I voting purely on how likely I am to shop there, or what is objectively better or worse?

I don’t give a shit about TJ Maxx, but does anyone else remember PB Max? That was THE BEST candy bar, and my life just hasn’t been the same since they discontinued it. Any chance they still have some old ones laying around at TJ Maxx?

Anything but c-stores and groceries. Wally’s got to be in this. Target as well. Maybe Penny’s, Dillards, Kohls, Sears if they still have that, Macy Gray’s, Gap, Banana Republic, Apple Store, Hobby Lobby, Home Depot - any of that shit. Think of any non grocery anchor tenant in a large strip mall or any of your favorite retailers in an actual mall. Could even have a return of Sbarro or Build A Bear.
