I'm gonna have to choose between Boddington's, Murphy's, or Guinness. I've never had Murphy's or Boddington's so I'm giving them a spin this weekend.
It kinda sucks that a 4-pack of these cans cost as much as a six pack, but the cans are like 16 ounces or something though right?
Yeah, the cans are bigger, and it's quality beer IMO so worth the price. I'm a huge Guinness fan but it'll probably be too heavy for the TN heat (same for Murphy's)- Boddington's is kinda heavy too but much lighter tasting.
Murphy's!?!?! Can you get Murphy's stout in Nashville? we used to have it in florida, but i can no longer find it anywhere. i love Guinness, but I prefer Murphy's.

If you do that redrum, flo-town (my home-town) has a decent "party" store called Mickey Finn's -- there are two locations. They are the cheapest, and actually have a decent selection (they were the 1st place I saw in this state to carry Terrapin brews).

The answer to this question, as (surprisingly) only noted once, is Dale's Pale Ale. You can find it in Atlanta and most metropolitan areas. It is one of the best pale ales around. Going with the common ones (PBR, High Life, Bud) will only dilute the pleasure that is "drinking beer". This stuff tastes better than most beer in bottles.
