I remember burritos and pizza that were all right. Everything smelled better than it tasted thats for sure. However there was a booth by That tent last year called "Special Teas" that served awesome iced teas of varying types, with big ass lemon slices! I really like iced tea.......
I got the most delicious veggie burrito on Shakedown in '04....it was honestly the best piece of food I've ever eaten at a festival.. still sticks out in my head to this day... it was orgasmic.

hoping the food is good since i probably won't be bringing any of my own. i'm coming all the way from PA and pretty sure if i tried to bring anything of my own it would be spoiled/melted by the time i got there
you won't have any problems finding good food there, I went to '04 with just the clothes on my back and a couple hundred dollars and fed myself very well.
Yes, the mushroom pizza is to die for....I had many slices of mushroom pie all weekend....OOOOhhhhh LLLLLaaaa LLLLLaaaa.......Heck Mushrooms on everything is my motto...If you see me lets have mushrooms........I cannnot wait to get me my mushrooms...I am hungry now
*i like coconuts, you can break them open they smell like ladies lyin in the sun** *Hell I don't even know where I am** *for now I must sit here and ponder the yonder: The herbivores did well cause their food didn't never run** *We listen, if it feels good We shake** *You made a big impression for a girl of your size, Now I can't get by without you and your big brown eyes.**
Ya. We tried bringing food to make / prepare last year. Since we flew in we found that it was so much easier and approximatly the same price to just buy food from official/nonofficial vendors at the show. When you're hungry you go get some food, nothing ot fuss with outside of meals.
I remember standing in the parking lot of the Phish show in Atlanta in '97 and seeing some guy yelling "bean burritos, $1... magic bean burritos, $10" This was also right next to 3 mounted police officers. Perhaps the veggie burritos were the magic variety?
We ran into a vendor at Coachella who as selling all sorts of organic foods that seemed incredibly healthy. We had just eaten, so we didn't get anything, but we asked a few people how they liked the salads and granola/fruit bowls and everyone said it was incredible. We mentioned something to the vendor about going to Bonnaroo and he said he'd see us there. The one thing I learned from Coachella is that although the greasy pizza seemed like a good idea, eating healthy probably is the better choice. I'll save my taste buds for beer.
mmm i had a really yummy tofu stirfry and nachos, but with really fresh good stuff on it like avocados and black beans... we only brought a few snacks last year and didn't eat most of them except for the fruit. oh, and i had a great breakfast burrito from shakedown that was so good i recreated at home a bunch. since i can't bring fruit on the plane i'm gonna go the smoothie route this year.

There were Ben & Jerry's vendors in Centeroo.
Oooh man i'm happy to see that. If my campsite is anywhere close to the Ben and Jerry's vendor i'll probably be livin on Chunky Monkey for 3 days. that stuff's addictive
