Hi, I'm Joe and I'm new here. I've gotta say that the threads (I've skimmed/read about half of them now) here in this forum have been immensely helpful in planning for what is going to be my first Bonnaroo. Thanks to all of you whose info has been so useful! I'm one of those new fans who will be attending because of the greater variety of bands. I promise to not be one of the annoying ones who kills the scene On to my query...
I bought some nice bulk Gatorade from the Evil Empire and I've got an idea. I want to be able to give my travelmates a few individual "shots" of powder that they can easily put into a 20 oz bottle of water, shake up, and voila, instant dehydration-insurance! One possibility is tiny ziplocs, but I worry about the mess possibility there. Ideally, I'd like something that can hold up to one scoop of gatorade, seal tightly, be reusable, and be easily able to pour the contents into the tiny opening on a water bottle. I'm straining to come up w/ anything, so I thought I'd pose this question to you fine folks.
Here's what we did last year. My buddy and I each got one of those Camelbaks. We just put the dry powder into the bladder and walked through security holding a sealed one gallong jug of water. Once inside the gates, we just added the wanter to the Camelbak, shook them up, and voila, instant Gatorade on the ready all day long.
You can go to a restaurant or restaurant supply place and get 2 ounce souffle cups with lids. This should work just fine. They are cheap, maybe some one will give them to you if you have any friends that work in a restaurant. They do have 3 and 4 ounce also. You may need to measure out your recipe and then agree to what size you will need. Good luck
Dude, film canisters. Perfect for one-shot servings, cheap as dirt, water/weater-proof, and multi-use; lots of heady stuff enjoys habiting film canisters.
Get some in a lot of 10 (for like $5), run them through your dishwasher beforehand, should take care of chemicals and whatnot.

Where's a good place to find those, like a camera shop?
I actually found something even better whilst getting a few supplies at the evil empire today. They're these tubes that are made to freeze ice cubes to put in your bottled water. They're the perfect shape and size and there were enough so that I could have two for each of my travel mates and myself (color coded no less).
I bought a box of those little single serving packs, that you just pour into your bottled water. These have a full days supply of vitamin C and better yet, they're caffinated. There not gatorade though. They do have those packs for sport drink type stuff though.
