I will most likely do the same this year but for the entire weekend instead of just two or so.

I have a couple of sarongs, I wear them around camp some, but not usually out into things, I need pockets to badly. Also no matter how well you put one on you will have to stop and adjust it at some point.

I never have to adjust mine, what I do is tie the corners together and then roll up the top part that's around my waist, never loosens or falls down

I can even wear it during late nights and not have to worry about it coming off. Unless I want to take it off and use it for a cape or something.
