hey! I'm a first timer and had a question about carrying stuff around. What do you bring from your camp site with you for the day? I was thinking about bringing a back pack with water, snacks, wallet, etc but then read that backpacks aren't very good with dancing (good point I hadn't thought of!) Do you carry much around with you or just take money and buy the water and stuff you need?
I carry a backpack and a chair with me. I just set the backpack down on the ground or in the chair if I need to boogie. I bought a Camelback backpack for this year (which holds about 1/2 of my other backpack), so hopefully I won't be tempted to carry as much with me into Centeroo.
I have gone with a backpack the last two years. Just dont overload it. Much better to get all your needs into. Just speaking from experience. Good to carry your like water, frisbee, wallet, and other goodies. If you need to you can just set in down in front of you or so. Its chill. When i leave camp, I like to be fully prepared for anything and everything. Alan.
I too bought myself a Camelbak, in hopes of reducing my load into Centeroo.
To answer your question though, I always have water, some snacks, camera (I go disposable at Roo), a towel to drape over myself, and whatever else I can hide in there for use in Centeroo.
