Guest camping is a special campground for just that....guests. I"m curious as to how you got these. They should only come through someone connected to the festival and you should have received info about it all.
"Guest camping is a special campground for just that....guests."
yeah, that wasn't a real tough one to figure out. I am wondering where it is. I was a guest in 2002 and I basically camped in the VIP area, but that was 2002. I don't know if was in the wrong spot then or if VIP and guest was the same then, but the information I got states that it is NOT the same. I do however, have access to guest hospitality.
As far as I got them... I am connected in many ways to many of the bands.

The paperwork distinguishes "guest" from "VIP," I imagine, in terms of us as guests not getting as many perks and treats as VIPS. But based on your message landa321, I'm guessing our campground is near or with the VIP campground?
So where should I camp? Can I drive my car into the guest camping? Or do guests park separately? I'm actually thinking about having two campsites, one with my friends in general camping and one in guest camping, but I really want some advice from all you 'roo veterans, as this will be my first time.
To answer the other question, I'm coming to write about the festival as a guest of the Bindlestiff Family Circus -- all of you should definitely check them out.
anu - what the actual "vouchers" look like? mine came with comp tickets and the "special" directions, along with the sheet of instructions and info, but I don't see anything in there that looks like a voucher or whatever.

Just FYI - guest camping is practically in Centeroo - if you're looking at what stage, guest camping is behind and to the right. A super sweet spot to camp if you have the guest passes - no travel time to centeroo and of course, a couple of little perks. Guest camping is an awesome score!
Regular ticket Joe here with a question. Are arm bands for entrance to the VIP area checked upon entrance to said area? Do non VIPers make it into the VIP area via friends ect? My last Roo was spent strictly in the general camping area. That was '03 so I'm not sure about changes and others previous experiences.

"yeah, that wasn't a real tough one to figure out. "
Easy now. Anyway, there are two different guest campgrounds. One is on the southwest corner of Centeroo. The other is South of Centeroo behind the admin compound.
So anyone know specifically what benefits come with the guest upgrade? The info included said guest entrance to the festival, guest camping and viewing area, but any more specifics would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks!

Well, due to some late developing concerns with my caravan companions, it looks like I will be in the guest camping. So where do I park? Do I need my wheelbarrow to get my gear to guest camping?
