Ah, good call, attornaroo, I forgot about cigs. I also need about 5 new tarps.
Friday night I lost my debit card. In the twenty years since I've had this account I have never lost a debit card. The timing of this is horrible. Seven to ten business days to get a replacement sucks. Therefore, the other item on my to-do-list now is to go to the bank Monday and get all my money out of there for the trip since I can't use the card for gas and such. And as a back-up I guess I need to go through all my credit card statements and see how much money I can use on each of those as well. I used some prime cuss words Friday night.
Yeah you can find a place to buy some shades there. I still need to go to check n go to get some extra cash before i head out. Also we need to get the food & liquor & maybe another smaller tent.
I know I once lost my debit card two days before going to a NASCAR race weekend. I called my local branch and they gave me a temp debit card to use for the weekend. Call your banks local office and ask them.
Just bought about 70 dollars worth of beer, add that to what my buddy brings and we outta be set for the weekend for beer. So I can scratch that off the list now I gotta get food

The only thing we really have left now is just some groceries and ice on the way out on Wednesday - we pretty well finished the last minute stuff today.
aahh I can't tell you how many various lists I've made for this trip! I know not one of them has been completed and I know there are a fewa t my desk at work, one in my purse, one in the car, etc, etc... off the top of my head I know I need to:
- buy beer and ice once close to Manchester - buy oranges and a few other food items tomorrow night - finish packing my clothes - buy more stakes, relective tape, and a lantern - and AAA batteries
This trip has cost so much more than I anticipated, but I'm also a lot more excited than I thought I'd be too! Two days of work (which will be spent on Inforoo, of course) and then we're on our way!
Pack up the truck tomorrow night around 7 to be able to roll on Tuesday after work at 5......Then buy groceries and ice in Manchester...It is almost here....I can taste it

I still have to purchase ice and gold bond. How much is ice at bonnaroo? I plan on freezing bottled water. I have a small car and can only bring one cooler. I don't think I'll have room for water and ice.
I'm goin CRAZY trying to make sure i have everything i need. I have the rest of tonight and tomarrow to get the last of our supplies and then were out on tuesday. This may end up being my last post before i take off so if it is see you all there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

last year on our way into roo, we stopped at the infamous walmart right before roo.. some of my boys went inside to get ductape i think and beer..cant rememeber. anyways, we started talking to some MUCH older heads, and somehow got into the discussion about forgetting something and going into walmart to get it..and he simply said..
"if you don't have what you need, might as well say f*ck it!!"
and i swear to god it was the best thing ever. that line has stuck in my group of friends and we say it constantly.. so basically... if you forget something...
if you dont have what you need...you may as well say f*ck it!"

I love it! However I like it better like this:
[glow=red,2,300]if you dont have what you need...you may as well say f*ck it and spark one![/glow]

well I finally threw some clothes to pack on the floor and a huge bottle of goldbond. ;D - Heck what else could one need!
Actually I am blessed - my pals will pick me up at the Hotlanta airport and wisk me away at 8:30 AM thursday - as long as I remember a pillow (and the Goldbond) nothing else matters
1. Get in touch w/ some folks I met last year and confirm meetups. 2. Renew my expired truck plates (oops). 3. Get a little more beer. 4. Pick up the perishable foods. 5. Freeze the 2nd batch of H2O bottles (already have the 1st batch on dry ice).
After tons of shopping tonight, we just need beer, ice, cigs and cash. All of which I can get tomorrow since it's my day off. My apartment looks like a camping goods store threw up in it.

what are all the xtra tarps and tent stakes for...doesn't you tent have stakes that come with it? i only have 1 tarp, i thought that was gonna be fine...i go camping all the time and i always have everything i need and it never seems like a lot, although now i am gettign freaked out that i will be unprepared, even though i am somewhat of a nature wilderness girl...i like the guy who said if you don't have it, f*ck it...very existential.

I don't usually wear shorts so I should probably pick some up... gotta find out directions, still. Google Map it, most likely. Need to get food and a cheap but durable table. Money would be nice and... I think we've pretty much got everything we won't need and forget everything we do, but that's what it's all about.
